The house is great! Has everything you need. Very clean. Nice quiet area. From here, you can climb beautiful mountains by bike and to lourdes. Shops within 15 min. The hostess is very nice. Also provided many tips to do nearby. The shared pool was a nice cooling off. We would definitely love to come back

The house is as cozy as it looks. We had a small issue and it was fixed with less than 24h. The gardener is wonderful, cozy and if it hadn't rained we would have enjoyed a jacuzzi. The village is very beautiful, well located to get to know the surroundings but mostly to rest and unwind. We were there with the family, parents, aunt, husband, and there is enough space to accommodate 3 family units with no problem. The original wooden decoration is respected intact, being able to park the car inside is a must, and in the summer for sure the psychic is a fantasy. The house is three stories but it looks like 1 as the stairs are low and easy to climb (especially for us who were going with seniors). There are tons of games at different ages. We loved the kitchen and provides a space to share around the table. Gas stove, 2 ovens... Very happy to have chosen Nigel's house.

We were delighted with our stay. The house and its surroundings are perfect for those who want to enjoy nature while staying close to the city. This stone mansion retains all its period charm, while having been completely renovated and modernized with high quality amenities. The hospitality was excellent, with a perfectly maintained garden and a clean and warm house. We highly recommend this lodge to any family wishing to enjoy the many activities offered in the surrounding valleys.

We loved our stay with Elodie. The place is beautiful and steeped in history. The exteriors are particularly neat and the ambient calm is extremely relaxing. This tastefully renovated charming cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. We'll be happy to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Gaelle and Ferdinand are very warm and welcoming as well as there lovely dogs and children. We would highly recommend them and their Gîte. 😊

Clare was really nice after a long road journey and was super responsive. Just wished we had more to spend in the beautiful countryside.

It's been a great experience from start to finish. Communication with François was excellent from the moment, responding clearly and quickly to messages. Once in the house, François has been a 200% friendly host, respectful of our privacy but always available, he gave us everything we needed and was especially lovely bringing games for the child. The house is great, charming, clean, spacious and well equipped. It's much better than in the pictures. It is secluded in the middle of an impressive estate, but 15 min from a very beautiful village with everything needed to meet the needs of the day to day. The location is perfect for a quiet vacation in nature and from where you can do many interesting hikes. Our dog also enjoyed it very much and we were very happy . Thank you François!

Very nice large house to gather as a family over several generations. All the bedrooms on the first floor have their bathroom with toilet which is very comfortable. The road in front of the house is very low traffic. We are all pleased with our stay.

Martine and her husband were delightful and really helpful! The house is in a wonderful location and was exactly what we needed! It is an old farm and we loved the rustic nature of it. We would be very happy if we get the chance to return one day.

We spent five days in Sombrun and we loved it! The house is perfectly well-equipped to accommodate a group of 8 people; everything is nice. The outdoors is also very well thought out for summer days, with a Pool House equipped with Bluetooth speakers for great poolside moments! Morten, the host, is very responsive and especially attentive. She took the time to send us little messages to make sure we were settled in and happy, which we greatly appreciated. We therefore recommend ++++ staying in Sombrun if you have the opportunity, it's pure happiness! As for us, we are already planning our next trip ;) Thanks Morten!

A cozy house in a wonderful location surrounded by nature. Green Prados, a nearby river, wooded areas., definitely a wonderful place to enjoy tranquility in the middle of nature. Rosalind and her husband always waiting for any need. Very nice. A place to come back.

Beautiful green and very peaceful setting. Very cute little house with amazing views over the mountains. Small shops are 8-10 minutes away by car. There are many local markets in different villages and towns.

Excellent stay. Very nice environment of the cottage located in a vast family estate. Tastefully arranged and tidy set so that the visitor is comfortable. The house is spacious, the decor is neat and colorful which highlights the whole thing. Francis and Paquita were lovely hosts with great care for us. We recommend this property very well maintained! Very warm, welcoming and bright house, it feels like home. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, with nice dishes. The living and dining area are nice, with a very cute children's corner and games available. The bedding is comfortable and the accommodation is spotless, even better than in the photos. The dishwasher and washing machine are new. Beautiful fireplace for your fires in the winter. The terrace, which overlooks the Neste, is a real asset, offering peace and quiet. You will find a convenience store, pharmacy, and butcher nearby. A traveling baker passes through the square every morning, and a supermarket is just 10 minutes away in Arreau.

This was a blissful getaway for a friend and I with our three children, aged 5, 13 and 15. It is remote, so you will certainly need a car (nearest convenience store a 10 min drive) but for a holiday to switch off it is perfect. It feels like a home from home, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Given the location, do bring insect repellent as in the evenings there are lots of mosquitos (but that's just the countryside). All the kids loved the inflatables and we enjoyed the lovely sun loungers and outside dining area. The house is well stocked with games and the tennis court was also used. Well positioned to visit all the local towns (favourites are Vic Fezensac, Condom and Auch for the best Hypermarket) I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you are scared of wasps, they do live in the stone wall that surround the pool, so will come out on a hot day - although if you leave them alone they are just thirsty and won't sting. Hope to return again if they'd have us!
