Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

Just got back from a weekend at Mezs Lodge. Exactly what we were hoping for when booking and as described and the pictures show. Peaceful and secluded, sweeping views of from the Lodge and hot tub and lovely private walkers through around the area. Mez was so helpful and accomadating, en route was a road closed sign and diversion was an hour plus going wrong way, dropped Mez a message and he checked to see he could find. Gave instructions on how to get through and we arrived later than expected at 22:30 to a lovely warm lodge with a fire in, fresh eggs and got a message from Mez said could pop down if needed. Lodge is perfect for a break away, all the necessities you could need and more. Clean all round, well looked after and lovely comfy beds. Location is a dream, and the hot tub is lovely addition to really make the time there special and enjoy the views with its perfect placement. Mez is a star, there as much or little as needed ensuring you have a enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was absolutely lovely - responsive, welcoming, and even came out to meet us, which made us feel right at home. The space was clean and full of thoughtful, personal touches that really set it apart. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - perfect for relaxing after a day out. We also really appreciated the EV charger, which made traveling so much easier. The home was very spacious and beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail throughout. Would 100% stay again - highly recommended!

We have had a lovely few days staying here. Was exactly as described and we made use of the hot tub and fire pit every day. The communal building would be very useful on wet days or larger gatherings. Will come back another time.

Beautiful piece of tranquility. Carol’s place is situated close to everywhere you would want to visit in the area. The cottage is cosy with a lovely log burner and very comfortable bed, we were even given a lovely chocolate cake on arrival! Beautiful cottage, beautiful gardens, couldn’t have asked for more. Carol was a wonderful host, thanks for everything.

We had a fantastic week at Aberdar. The weather was amazing all week, so we spent our time outside enjoying the garden, orchard and stream, and sitting at the various seating areas to avoid the wind if it got too strong. We only made 3 trips away from Aberdar.. a stunning part of Wales and it was hard to put the camera down. A pleasure to drive on the pothole free roads and we hardly saw anyone apart from friendly farmers. Our anxious rescue dog was very happy enjoying the space and he was relaxed all week, as were we. Aberdar has it all.. very clean and homely, very well equipped with everything we needed, useful information file provided for guests, beautiful views and loved hearing the sheep, cows and stream. If you are tall, remember to duck when going through the doorways.. we kept forgetting! This was a very special trip for us and we will be returning!

What an amazing place!! We had a wonderful weekend here - the garden and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the cottage had all the necessary essentials and amenities. The cottage is beautifully finished, and everything was clean and tidy. The underfloor heating meant it was always warm; and there was always hot water and the bathroom/en-suite are luxurious. We had a lot of fun doing activities in the local area, and enjoyed a “Sound of Music” walk to The Boat Inn.

Beautiful location and cottage! Everything was clean and tidy. Very clear instructions on how to find the cottage! Hosts kept to themselves and let us get on with whatever we were doing, which we appreciated! Little welcome treats provided by the hosts which was a lovely touch! Internet was very intermittent but to be expected!

Leah was very responsive showed us around her place which was beautiful. The decor was homely full of wonderful books. Everything was perfect, she went the extra mile to make us feel at home from Welsh cakes to Lavendar bath salts. Thank you so much :)

We had an amazing stay at Martin & Karen's place. The cottage is amazing - feels very homely and is kitted out with everything you could possibly ask for. Location is great - very peaceful and perfect to explore the rurarl surrounding. I worked from 'home' for a couple of days and the wifi was great for video calls etc. Would love to visit again!

Mini B is exceptionally clean, tidy and well equipped. Perfect as a base for biking Afan and sightseeing in the local area. It's amazing to visit somewhere which provides secure lock-up storage for our bikes, and facilities to wash the bikes too. The hosts are friendly, and accommodating, the welcome pack of information they provide is incredibly helpful too. Hopefully we will be back!

We had a fantastic week here, the views and setting were just amazing. The accommodation was clean and cosy, Danielle and Tom were great hosts- so friendly and very very responsive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The kids loved the swimming pool and its long opening hours. Although there were other families staying in the other cottages it always felt very tranquil and peaceful with us often having exclusive use of the pool. It was great having a washing machine to use daily, as well as lots of other bonuses. We will definitely be back!

A place with the WOW factor. Scenery is just amazing. Beautiful little spot with the added bonus of a pool and our own private hot tub. Relaxing environment and spacious surroundings. Totally recommend.

My family and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at David's lovely home and we can't wait to hopefully return one day. Our children were in tears when we arrived home because they missed the holiday home and the swimming pool and club house so much! The scenery was picturesque and it was glorious how peaceful it was. beautiful views and with the upside house layout it made the most of this. Working farm, but very quiet. Although you didn't feel you needed to tell children to be quiet all the time. Pool and hot tub were great additions, and my girls loved spending time in there. I possibly read the desciption wrong, but I hadn't realised before that the washing machine was shared and only available when the pool was. It worked for us and was fine, I just needed to be more organised! Danielle was very quick to respond to all messages and communicated really well with any info we needed. Lovely to meet her at the start to put a face to the name. Would definately recomend and hope to come again. Ideal to travel the half hour to the Hay festival!
