Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Trent Lakes

After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Thank you for letting us reschedule when our original plans fell through. James was very helpful and easy to deal with. The home was spacious and clean. The beds were heavenly I came very close to stealing a pillow!

Spent a wonderful weekend at this home while visiting family nearby! The house is very spacious and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cookware we needed to make our own meals. The en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom was a great bonus. We were all very impressed, and would happily stay here again next time!

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! The house was actually better than the photos depicted! Absolutely gorgeous! It was perfect for our large family and we would certainly reach out for future family gatherings! Mila was an incredibly responsive, accommodating, friendly and an awesome hostess! Mila was always quick to reply to messages and really made us feel welcomed! Clean, comfortable, safe place! Highly recommend. Shaun was fantastic to work with. We travel to Belleville frequently and this will definitely be a place we come back to.

This is the third year we have stayed there. We attend a big event in town, so it is nice to come back to something cozy and comfortable. We even went down to the water for a short walk this year since there was no ice or snow.

I stayed here for my son’s competition that was in town. It was far less than a hotel and offered more comfort. Large tv to watch the hockey games at night and full kitchen and living area. The location is super easy to get to off of the Hwy and is in a great neighbourhood. It was nice out so it was a real easy walk to the waterfront to stroll the main streets and we ate at a cool Italian spot. If I ever go back to Barrie, I’ll stay here again for sure.

For sure, if I have to go back in Peterborough, I would rent again this lovely apartment. It has all the basics and I appreciate the quiet neighbourhood. Self entry was easy with the detailed instructions of the host. The only comment I would give to other guests is that the mattress is quite soft and a little uneven. Nevertheless, I had two very good night sleeps thanks to the quiet spot and also very good quality of bedding.

What an amazing place to sit back and relax after a big hike... enjoy the sunset on the river, cook a meal while gazing out to the beautiful waterfront, fall asleep in a cosy bed... you'll feel right at home ! Judi and Dave were kind enough to give us recommandations regarding the heavy weather, thank you for that!

We had an excellent stay!! The location of the property made for an easy commute into town for shopping and dinner out. And the surrounding roads were great for sunset walks. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Thank you Susan for having us, your hospitality was top notch!!

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

Beautiful home with classy decor. Home was cozy but scantily equipped with needed kitchen amenities. Be sure to read the house rules before booking! House rules are unnecessarily excessive, makes it uncomfortable to get that "home away from home" experience, so read the house rules before booking! Host must have had unpleasant situations with guests in the past. The house is gorgeously decorated and pristine, should be featured in a home magazine for real. Overall, we had a great stay!

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, and it pleasantly surprised us by being even more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Its ideal location near restaurants, cafes, shops, and Wellington Beach made our experience even better. Additionally, the short drive to beautiful wineries and beaches was a huge plus. Brent, our host, was exceptionally friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place. The house was large enough with all the utilities and amenities we needed to accommodate our family group. We are so grateful for how accommodating Susan was during our stay- she went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay with two very young children. The property is lovely, spacey and kept in a clean state and has a lovely garden space with outdoor furniture too. Susan was a great host and very responsive with any queries or questions we had. We had a great time and would love to stay here again!
