Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Trent Lakes

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The cottage is wonderful and super cozy. It felt like home away from home. Jamie-Lee was a great host. Quick to respond and to action on requests, she provided great suggestions on things to in the towns near by. We would gladly come back next year!

Tracey and Rodney were great hosts. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the gallery inside and the river views. The photos and description are accurate. It was great to re-explore Campbellford.

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. Gave a fantastic vibe. The hot stub was clean, private and lovely. You wont be disappointed whatsoever here. Thank you for being a fantastic host Rebecca.

The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Shahrzad’s cottage in Innisfil! The place was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Shahrzad was a fantastic host—very responsive and thoughtful. The location was peaceful and close to the lake, which made it perfect for a weekend escape. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

We had the best time at this lovely place. Deborah and Ross are amazing hosts and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything :) the place is also super clean and feels like home! If you are bothered by bugs, don’t miss out to visit the lovely little store ‘zebra with a different stripe’ to get some great all natural bug spray!

Kristin's stay was lovely. The unit was clean. The pool was clean and there were a few toys for my daughter to play with. Hot tub wasn't over powering chemical smell which was nice.

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the deck was stunning. We especially appreciated the little touches like the, family friendly games, fast Wi-Fi, and detailed welcome guide. Whether you’re looking to relax in the hot tub, kayak on the lake, or just unwind in a peaceful setting, this cottage has it all. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic stay! Clean, beautiful views, hot tub was amazing and fishing off the dock was pretty good. NOTE: Proximity to road was a bit of a thing for the sound. That being said it didn't diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you again!

We spent a wonderful weekend at Addies lake house. Although we did not have the warmest weather, we were able to cozy up by the fire and in the hot tub. Addie gave us great recommendations and we enjoyed a few bars in town. The property is very clean and private and we will definitely be re-booking !!

Mihaela's cottage was a lovely little place surrounded by trees. Despite its location deep down the cottage roads, it took less than 15 minutes to drive wherever we needed to go (Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Highlands Signature Park). The cottage itself was comfortable and clean, but we especially enjoyed the lovely firepit and jacuzzi 😄 Mihaela was also a responsive and understanding host, leaving plenty of clear instructions and responding to questions in record time. Overall we had a great stay and I would happily recommend this cottage to others!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside cottage. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. All the instructions were clear and easy to follow, making check-in and settling in smooth. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. My grandson especially enjoyed fishing—he had so much fun by the water. (This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. We had the most amazing time this weekend at Vicki’s place. The cottage itself is beautiful and has all the amenities you could possibly need. It’s great for families with young children and it’s definitely set up to cater them. It is immaculately clean and has the most beautiful views from the large deck. The weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t get to do any swimming but the outdoor fire pit kept us warm. We will absolutely be back.
