Ideal for holidays by the sea below, the stay also lends itself to a little more challenging excursions such as: the Sila (60 km.), the town of Tropea (30 km.), the Sanctuary of S.Francesco di Paola (5 km.) (photo), medieval villages such as Fiumefreddo, San Fili, Falconara Albanese and the prettiest one on the Tyrrhenian coast that is just San Lucido. Walking in the old town, you discover the beauty of the streets, stairs and stone houses, embellished with squares and historic arches and underpasses. (Photo Gallery) For those who do not like to go to the sea or leave Casale Rondinella, the stay can be interspersed with walks in the surrounding woods, by visits to the nearby wild boar reserve, the use of the garden with its equipment: barbecue, tables, chairs, umbrellas, chairs and of course by the use of the magnificent private pool. For young and old, there is also a table football, a table tennis table, an exercise bike and various equipment for gymnastic exercises. For guests who do not want to have lunch in the house, Casale Rondinella is affiliated with the restaurant "da Peppone" in the center of San Lucido and the "Ritrovo di Elfaga" 100 meters from the farmhouse, where you can taste seafood dishes and typical local products. This apartment is exactly as described, fully renovated, clean and functional. Extremely spacious with a sofa bed, washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen, our family of 4 were had nothing to complain about! It is on a third floor with no elevators so brining up suitcases was a pain, but once you’re settled in, it’s really perfect! Markets, cafe and restaurants all within walking distance! You could also walk to the beach, about a 10-15min walk, although we didn’t (too hot! 😬). Perfect location to visit old Scalea, Arcomagno, Dino island, Diamante, etc I would highly recommend this place!

In the area for a weekend, we found all the relaxation we needed. The lady who welcomed us is an example of hospitality and kindness. He made us find a genuine and very good breakfast, he recommended hiking trails and where to dine. The house, small but cozy and complete with everything you need, very clean, it is in a strategic location and you can easily get to the starting point of the trails. Absolutely recommended!

Ideal for those looking for some peace of mind with some interesting hikes to do nearby. To name a few: the Tibetan puts, hiking in the mountains of varying intensity and commitment, organized excursions with e-bikes, the presence of a pool. Great for a family like mine San chirico Raparo confirmed the availability and typical Lucanian hospitality, but the one offered by Silvana and Antonio (known to us as more as mortadella), I would say without a doubt...outside the stairs. the attention to our needs, discreet, helpful, proactive, company, thoughtful in making the stay at the top in every way. I think it could be said that they did what was written on the wall of the bedroom. Congratulations and see you guys again

I chose this property according to my needs, which is a quiet place, not necessarily on the sea, but with a pool. The location of the pool area is really cozy and well organized. I found the peace of mind to be complicit in the period. The beach can be reached by crossing the street but it is to be avoided, it is practically overlooking the port of Taranto. There is internal parking, even if small. The facilities of the villa are well cared for externally, while the interior furnishings would need to be updated. Otherwise everything is fine, friendly and helpful Mrs. Leyla and her collaborator .
