Thank you for having us stay. Smaller town close to carcasonne castle which was nice! Charming stay in the basement of their home.

The house is consistent with the photos, it has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. Everything was ready for our arrival, with a welcome gift. The alley is quiet. There's plenty to park nearby. Céline is a very responsive and friendly host in exchanges. We recommend

Quiet location, cheery neighbours, very comfy bed, warm, excellent Internet, local supermarkets, cafes etc and a brilliant swimming pool with sauna etc a 5 min drive away in Peyriac, bus stop at end of road for cheap bus to Carcassonne. Responsive and friendly host available locally to sort any problems (the only one being a very small leak from base of water tank onto floor and a plumber came promptly). Staying for just over 2 months Oct to Dec it was cosy as weather got chillier but the ground floor room ( garage converted into basic lounge with sofa bed and chaise longue and a double washing line for drying laundry) became too cold to sit in much as unheated. Also for a long stay the sofa bed in upper living space is not that comfy as a sofa and the small TV is not the best. All in all a great deal, bigger than we expected and a peaceful haven in a beautiful and interesting area. Spectacular sunrises from balcony. Many thanks.
