Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het grote huis. Romain is erg vriendelijk en reageert meteen op al je vragen. wij hadden op een gegeven moment geen warm water en Romain kwam meteen langs. Super host en verblijf, met een perfecte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. AANRADER!

We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

We had a lovely stay. There was everything we could possibly need in the house. It was a very interesting house with decor that had lots to see and discuss.

L’appartement est très fonctionnel, bien agencé et décoré avec goût et modernité. Philippe a eu à cœur que notre séjour soit le plus confortable possible et était très disponible. Si nous avions pu, nous aurions prolongé notre séjour.

Le chalet de la mer est très cosy, très agréable et bien équipée Le jardin et la terrasse sont vraiment un plus nous avons passés un très bon week-end entre filles

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Un logement pratique, bien équipé et à la décoration sobre, idéalement situé sur le port de Grandcamp, dans une résidence parfaitement sécurisée. Tout est accessible à pied, les restaurants, les commerces et la plage...

Notre séjour a été un véritable ravissement. D’abord la qualité de l’accueil de Karine : sa réactivité et sa gentillesse, puis la situation de l’appartement qui nous offrait chaque matin et chaque soir un spectacle époustouflant, et pour terminer l’équipement et le soin porté à la déco….. Tout a été absolument parfait. Un immense merci!

I wasn't aware this was part of a bed and breakfast- which was totally fine just wasn't aware that we were sharing the amenities. The house was beautiful- the property was beautiful! I was a little disappointed the access to the beach was no longer available. And the hot water was only enough for 1 shower for several hours and there were 4 of us . The host was very responsive. Because of the beauty of the property and the responsiveness I still give this stay 5 stars.

Fidèle a la description du logement nous avons passé 2jours a nous ressourcer avec la nature et nos amis les animaux ( cygnes; ragondins ) que l'ont a pu observer au calme avec les jumelles mise a disposition . nous pensons revenir l'année prochaine. merci a vous

Wat een heerlijke week heb ik gehad in dit leuke en pittoreske huisje, niet ver van het strand. Het was klein, maar voor 1 persoon genoeg ruimte. Het bed was lekker groot en er was een goed matras. Ik heb bewondering voor de vindingrijkheid van de host om van de kleine badkamer en het kleine keukentje toch handige ruimtes te maken waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. Kortom: een plek om nog eens terug te komen.

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

Een mooie centrale locatie midden op het centrale plein in Arronmanches! Een mooi uitzicht op het strand met daarop de overblijfselen van de pontons, gebruikt als bevoorradings kades na D-Day 1944. Een uitgelezen uitvalsbasis om de omgeving van Normandy Beach te kunnen verkennen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alain’s place The bed was abit uncomfortable He needs to make sure there’s sufficient loo roll The plug sockets in the bedroom were very loose so they’re a safety hazard More extra pillows, bedding and towels would have been nice A larger smart tv is needed A nice welcome pack would be nice such as bread, butter, cheese, milk and water especially when guests aren’t arriving till late But it was in a nice area Slightly difficult to get to as it’s one way and the road was closed off because of road works so we had to go on a diversion Improvements needed
