My fiance and I stayed here for our minimoon with our two dogs. There was a fenced in backyard which was an amazing perk we didn’t know about before checking in. Ansley was very responsive and the cottage is SO cute. Definitely recommend!

Excellent host and home! Absolutely beautiful inside and out! My main love was the swinging bed! 2 nights spent and it was the best sleep ever!! Only thing I wish this property had was a hottub! The back decks are incredible, they would be even better with a hottub. Overall, a 5 out of 5 stars!!

This place exceeded those expectations, and we did not want to leave. Downtown was like 15 minutes away, yet we felt so secluded from society. The rooms seemed clean and well-kept. My family couldn’t wait for us to host a family get-together again. So mission accomplished!!!

Spectacular views! The house has everything you'll need either for a romantic getaway or a family gathering. Quick response from the owners regarding booking and normal house maintance issues. The charming home decor gives the house a relaxing vibe and the kitchen has everything you'll need to cook for a big family BBQ or a romantic dinner for two. Canoe Cove was absolutely amazing. We didn't want to leave and were looking at properties for sale in Cooley's Rift by the last day! Such a beautiful setting and the home was brand new! It was super peaceful but extremely close to campus and town. Amber was a fantastic host.

Very happy with our stay. The place is clearly well taken care of and I think the price was very fair. If you like to plan ahead, I’d say the kitchen area is relatively small and didn’t have proper chef knives. I was planning on cooking but wanted to keep things simple and had to reconsider what was feasible. Also FYI we didn’t have cell reception in that area. Wifi worked great though, I was even able to work and take video calls.

This is my second stay at Kimber and Lee’s beautiful home in Cooley’s Rift. It is an exceptional place to stay. First, and I say this without exaggeration, Kimber has thought of everything that one might need duringthe stay. As she rightly points out, the house is equipped to live in, not just to stay at. Everything is comfortable and inviting. She has a wonderful coffee and drink bar that is incredibly well appointed. she has a lot of cozy blankets to curl up on the couch and the reading game room is an extra special touch! Kimber‘s communication is absolutelyover-the-top. She is so friendly and warm and very straightforward with her instructions. She also has a terrific book of things to do in the area. The lake outside is so peaceful and we were able to fish a bit while we were there. All in all everything is just amazing there and I will stay there each and every time I go to the mountain.
