I loved staying at this property! If you desire to experience real Japanese life, and want to make connections that truly touch your heart, I would highly recommend this location. Sho is a gracious host who made time to host us for dinner and take us to onsens despite his busy schedule. Nose area is a extremely beautiful landscape with many places to explore, you can rent bikes for 500 yen a day, definitely capitalize on that. Hikes, the gym, temples, local onsens and beautiful farms are all at your finger tips. We met local construction crews revitalizing older properties and bringing new shine to this beautiful old gem. It was really nice to connect with some down to earth people. This share house will be the highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend it enough if you want a truly unique Japanese experience!

Loved our stay! The accommodation is located in a peaceful and unspoiled area, very close to Arashiyama, with several means of transportation within walking distance — convenient to explore Kyoto and its surroundings. The neighborhood is full of good places, and Jun & Aki shared many local recommendations that really enriched our experience. The accommodation itself is spotless: clean, comfortable, very well equipped — ideal even for a long stay. It far exceeded our expectations. A quick tip: If you stay for several days, consider renting a bicycle to explore the surrounding area at your own pace. It's a real plus!

I used it when I returned from overseas to introduce my wife to my family.Even when I made a sudden reservation on the day, they handled it smoothly. Since it was for two people, we were able to use it very widely and comfortably.I think it can be used quite comfortably even with a larger number of people. There was a lot of tableware, and it was easy to use. The train passes right next to it, but I wasn't bothered by the noise.My wife was surprised by the sound at first because she came from a country where trains are not common, but she got used to it and didn't mind it at all.It was a double window, so it wasn't that loud. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, which was very convenient for shopping and shipping luggage.I think it is a quiet location where people do not gather around the convenience store in the middle of the night. The house may be seasonal, but it was very cool and easy to spend time in, and I was able to spend a comfortable time without using air conditioning or a fan.
