May mention Trolltind and Åbittind which are famous and popular hiking destinations, which are close to the cabin tune. The cabin has good standard and well equipped. Bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchen with Smeg stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. Wood-burning stove and electric heating. Access to canvas and projector access in the living room. There is a breeze car road all the way up to the cabin

Swimming opportunities in the river a small stroll away An eldorado for top tur enthusiasts with nearby peaks of over 1000moh, like Trolltind and Åbittinden, but also great for hiking in the terrain, summer and winter. Sunndalsfjella, Trollheimen, Innerdalen, Vinnutrappa, Prestaksla, Aursjøvegen and Eikesdalen are just a short drive away.

How about enjoying fjord views from the rocks or from a comfortable outdoor sofa under the roof with fresh coffee? Or bath life and lazy days on the rocks? Hiking opportunities in the area are close to endless. Renting a rowboat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, to boat experts (only summer). Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 meters from the water's edge. 70m2 plus large room at the pier level. Unique layout, large window surfaces, and multi-level rooms. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. Lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

An Idyllic resort overlooking both fjords and mountains. Here you have access to a fantastic boathouse with jetty where you can enjoy your holiday in tranquility and in sheltered surroundings. No matter what nature you prefer, you have everything you need close by. Here it is possible to go on nice mountain hikes, fish from the jetty or go on a mushroom and berry in the forest close by. It is occasionally possible to rent a boat with a motor. This has to be agreed with those at the neighboring farm for a sum.

Use of hot tub must be agreed, price NOK 400 at first use, then NOK 250 per heating. The place is rented for quiet law enforcement. Parties not allowed. Please leave the place tidy and clean

We had a fantastic stay at this stylish and beautifully decorated cabin in Alvunfjord. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views over the fjord. The location is peaceful, with only a few other houses around. The host was kind and helpful, with quick and friendly communication. There’s a supermarket nearby for convenience, though not many restaurants in the area.

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

A simply gorgeous homely cabin! Beautifully decorated with a view to die for. Extremely generous outside area to enjoy the magnificent ever changing views. Kristin was very helpful and friendly from start to finish and went above and beyond. If we ever returned to Norway we would not hesitate to book here again. Staying here made an amazing trip even better.

The house and the surroundings were incredibly beautiful, with a waterfall, beautiful garden and view of the fjord. Anita was very friendly, helpful and sociable to talk to. If we hadn't been in transit, we would have liked to stay here for another week. Highly recommended!
