Small cottage with additional sleeping possibility. It lacks facilities. Only rented with the cabin. Photos = backyard. The landlord is living in the neighboring yard and has horses. Forests, mountains, streams, small and large lakes, fields, villages.

I detta nyrenoverade hus anno 1700-talet hittar ni en varm och mysig atmosfär med vackra nejder i Byn Hovgården. Gångavstånd till bad, sjöar och slingriga stigar som väntar på att bli utforskade. Med bil når ni Romme Alpin eller Borlänge Centrum på 12 minuter. Även många andra vackra sevärdheter och naturreservat finns i närheten som till ex. Gyllbergen, Turistvägen Silverringen. Möjlighet att hyra cyklar, kanot, kayak och vedeldad bastu finns. Och vi delar gärna våra favorit platser med er:)

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Traditional countryside house near eco area lake Norra Barken and 10 km drive to nearest shops. The house has one bedroom with 2 bunk bed for 4 people, one bedroom with a king size bed and a living room with bed sofa, a bathroom with a shower cabin, a kitchen and a spacious veranda. The lake and wonderful green field give possibilities for fun activities. Near there are a ski resorts - Rome Alpin, museums, golf, the unique Falugruva. Possibility to rent more houses, with 2 or more beds.

Newly-built house on the lake property near Romme Alpin

Welcome to a newly built house on your own lake plot with magical views! In summertime you can enjoy swimming and sun from your own jetty as well as borrow a rowing boat, SUP and wood-burning barrel. In the fall you pick berries and mushrooms directly outside the house. In winter, it is about 13 minutes to Romme Alpin. When there is ice on the lake you can skate and go for lovely walks. There is a sauna and fireplace with access to wood for frozen ski enthusiasts.

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvik's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Upper Hill. Fishing from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (150kr/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.
