Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Toro Canyon

Very pleased with my recent stay at The Channel Islands Beach Retreat. As soon as I entered the property I felt like I was in a secret garden oasis. Absolutely loved all the amenities and comfort of the home. The beds were a dream! I slept so well. I hope to stay here again in the future because I was so impressed! This home has so much character. The 70s-inspired design is super fun and unique, and the space was perfect for our group of five. It felt spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub setup really made the stay—it felt like our own private retreat. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Dicle was equally great. They shared thoughtful recommendations, were responsive whenever we had questions, and even had someone come out quickly when the hot tub wasn’t heating up properly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience—everything was handled smoothly and with care. Would 100% stay here again. It’s a perfect spot for a chill, fun getaway with friends or family.

We were in town for UCSB College Graduation and the original home we rented on VRBO (13 months in advance) cancelled on us. Enter AirBnB and Matt and Robin's Shoreline Retreat. Location was fantastic (quiet neighborhood, walkable to water and into downtown SB). House was perfect - clean, not cluttered, and had unexpected "extras" such as toothbrush/toothpaste, laundry detergent, wine and snacks. Backyard grill... lots of spices and salt/pepper to allow us to make a few things at home without having to buy the grocery store. Seamless communication and when we realized we'd be arriving earlier than planned, they were quick to accommodate and early check-in. Highly recommend.

perfect location in Montecito! Very short walk to both the village and butterfly beach. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the backyard is so serene! The 101 is not at all too loud- it’s like gentle ambient noise- our newborn baby slept very comfortably and easily here! 😁 our family would absolutely return again! thanks Sara for sharing your beautiful space!

Great location, easy access to beaches, downtown. Comfy king sized bed. Take advantage of the fresh eggs, they were delicious. The unit is an extension of a family home but has a private entrance and feels separate. Hot tub, garden and sauna are part of a shared space with the host

Catie's place was really clean and had everything you needed to have a good stay. So many interesting items to look at, and I feel like I need another stay to see everything. Lots to do on the outside property and plenty of games on the inside. The kitchen was WELL stocked and the beds comfortable. The common rooms are big with lots of places to sit. Close to great hiking areas and town. Book it you will love it!

We loved our stay here. We had 3 couples and it was the perfect space for us to stay for a wedding weekend in Ojai. The backyard was great for hanging out. There was so much character to the house and we loved the decor!

Always love staying here. It's my go to in ventura if it's not booked. Jess is super fast at responding and the place is always immaculate. I give it 10 stars and two super enthusiastic thumbs up. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again.

The house and the location were perfect! When we come back to Ventura this is where we’ll stay again. Everything was clean and our kids were happy with the games provided outside. This house made our vacation!

We had a wonderful multi-week stay at Perry Perch. It is a beautiful unit with a sun-filled living room/kitchen area that we particularly loved. The location is perfect — close to State Street and the beach. Well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming 1-bedroom apartment in Summerland, CA! Traveling with a toddler can be tricky, but this place was perfect for our little family. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the biggest perks was the location—just a short walk to local shops, cafés, and a beautiful park. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and easy. We would absolutely recommend this place to other families looking for a quiet, convenient spot near Santa Barbara. We'd love to stay here again in the future!

Great place, great location, walking distance to the beach. Multiple, good food options within walking distance as well. Place was very clean and binder was very clear on all expectations and rules.

Our stay in Carpinteria was amazing! The host was very responsive and friendly. The location was absolutely perfect since we were one block from amazing beach with amazing sunrises and sunsets with a beautiful walk path. All the most amazing restaurants were in walkable distance or biking. There was also a grocery store nearby and coffee shops to choose from. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. Bikes and other recreational equipment in the garage where very convenient. grill outside and fire pit were, our nighttime favorites since the nights get a little chilly. The views of the mountains and access to wine tour was also great. I would love to come back next time with my daughter.😊

Absolutely loved our stay! The place is as beautiful as the pictures and we loved being able to walk to the main drag with tons of restaurants and coffee shops in Montecito, as well as Butterfly beach. We enjoyed relaxing at the house and kept the windows/doors open in the afternoon for the fresh ocean breeze and enjoyed cooking dinner at the house one of the nights. The jacuzzi was lovely.

Julia is an incredible host. From the time we booked her home, she was very hospitable and did everything to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend her place to anyone wanting to visit LA. The apartment is in a resort-style complex with a great pool and gym; the location was perfect for us. Thanks, Julia, for making our stay memorable.

I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment. The location is perfect for walking to everything good in Santa Barbara, and the apartment has a very cool, comfy vibe. It was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. The host was very proactive in communicating check-in and check-out info. The fire pit table did not work. Perhaps it was out of propane, or possibly it was just my fault for not figuring it out. I never tried to get the host to help, but I’m confident she would have been helpful had I asked. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was wonderful, spacious, and cozy. We loved the fireplace, outdoor space, jacuzzi, and especially the large family room; the pool table was a delightful addition for entertainment. The bar was well-stocked and included an ice maker. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Everyone was so friendly, and we experienced no problems. Our host was incredibly kind, proactive, and communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed. We would definitely return. I wanted to save the best for last: the views from the property are amazing, and there is a creek at the back of the property, which makes it incredibly peaceful. The outdoor space is wonderful, with a large, spacious seating area, outdoor table, and foosball table. Overall, this place is wonderful!

The cabin was perfect for our little family! We have a 4-year old and a 2-year old and it was enough space for us. Directions to the home were very helpful and spot on. The outside area is great for our kids as well. There was a playground. A seating area and a fire pit. The inside was cozy and it had everything we needed. It was a wonderful stay! Grigor was so responsive and easy to communicate with!

My family and I loved staying here! We had everything we needed for a cozy weekend. We even brought our dogs and they loved it. The game room was a hit! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, it was about a 5-10 minute walk to the town area. I’d take a look at the map before heading for a walk since there’s no cell service. We will definitely be back, I’d love to stay here again when there’s snow!

Jesus’s home was very clean and updated with beautiful modern farm house touches! So much thoughtfulness went into their welcome basket, to baking supplies, fully stocked coffee bar, variety of fun complimentary snack cupboard, and lavender soaking tub supplies! Property was very private and quiet with lots of outdoor seating along with a big Santa Maria charcoal grill. Definitely would recommend 100%

For my first time being back home in 15 years, this was perfection! The place was so cozy and rustic, as well as charming and up to date. We loved the bathroom. I could've just lived in the shower for 3 days. It's also not far from my friends and family, while still giving off that private and quiet feel. My favorite part of the trip was when the adorable white/black aussie met me at the door for breakfast the second morning. LOL. It was a great place to stay and made the nerve-racking trip all the better. THANKS! Can't wait to see it in another 15 years.

Therese is an excellent hostess, she checked in several times by text to make sure everything was good. The cabin is immaculate and met our needs perfectly. Downtown is about ten minute drive and the cabin is located in a rural neighborhood. There is a beautiful hike located nearby at the top of Sisar.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful black A-frame in Frazier Park! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the thoughtful design, peaceful atmosphere, and breathtaking surroundings. The cabin itself is cozy yet modern, with stylish decor that perfectly complements the mountain setting. The high ceilings, large windows, and warm lighting made it feel like a dream retreat. The kitchen was well-stocked, everything was spotlessly clean, and the hosts clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel at home., Beyond the home, the location was ideal—secluded enough to feel like a private getaway but still close to hiking trails and local spots to explore. Whether sipping coffee on the deck in the morning or winding down by the fireplace at night, every moment here was pure magic. I can’t recommend this A-Frame enough for a serene escape in Frazier Park! I’ll definitely be back!
