Great vacation spot! The house was great, had everything we needed.

Amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, everything we needed was right there. It felt like a home away from home. We unexpectedly had trouble with our truck not starting, and the host went above and beyond by allowing us to leave it there until it could be towed. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and understanding throughout the whole situation. That kind of hospitality made a huge difference in our trip. We felt completely taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an stress-free, comfortable place to stay!

Perfect location. Everything was clean and it was well-stocked. Check-out instructions were extremely minimal, it was nice to not feel like we had to spend hours leaving like some other places. It is right next to a public beach access, so there was a lot of foot traffic, but the people moved on quickly and settled further down the beach. I wish there were screens in the windows so that we could have opened them, but the sliding door does have a screen which was nice. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront home in Surf City! You truly can’t beat the location — just steps from the beach with direct access right off the back deck. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise was a highlight each morning. The house was comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. Plenty of space for the family, and easy access to town for restaurants and shops. Communication with the host was excellent — responsive and helpful throughout.

Our stay at this beachside Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The home was exactly as listed—clean, bright, and beautifully decorated with a relaxing coastal vibe. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying our morning coffee with ocean views. The beach was just steps away. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape—already dreaming of coming back!

Beautiful house with breathtaking views! Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more. Hosts were very informative and responsive. We rent in Queens Grant a lot due to the easy access with the boat and this may be our new favorite house there!

The place was beautiful with direct ocean views .. loved that on split beach house on quieter part of beach without ton of traffic listening to the waves crash onshore and enjoyed the soft gentle breeze every evening from balconies pretty ved amazing . The decor was on point. Beds were very comfortable. The host and communication was the best. I had a couple of quick questions and Andrew answered promptly as well as being super friendly before arrival, upon arrival and checkout. Appreciated the care hosts took to ensure us as guests felt right at home. The elevator 🛗 was very handy for my elderly parents traveling with this vacation. We loved grilling out and enjoying cornhole on Mother’s Day. The pool was closed and opens Memorial through Labor - which was ok for us.Overall great experience and exactly what needed as relax, reset, recenter and rejuvenate.

5 star home! This was great for our entire family vacation. We had grandparents and newborns and every age in between. This house was beautiful, clean, and literally ON the beach. We’ve already made plans to come back. The hosts were incredibly responsive. They took care of ever need we had.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay! The home was new, clean and beautiful! There was plenty of room, especially with the decks! It met our needs perfectly! We loved all of the activities in the fun yard! It was the best one in the area! We also enjoyed how close we were to the beach! Drew responded quickly to my questions before our stay, which I really appreciated. He was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, if we vacation in Oak Island in the future.

This is our second visit in this beautiful house. Everything you need for small kids and the island is one of our favorite places! Great hosts! Great house! We will be back.

Great place, close to the beach (5 minute walk) and excellent host. The real gem was the pool. Very convenient location to everything in Emerald Isle but also private enough that we weren’t bothered by noise or neighbors. Family friendly house that we’d definitely consider again. Penny’s place was absolutely amazing! From the minute we walked in the door it exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and fully stocked with all you need for a family beach vacation. Penny was very responsive with any questions we had and gave many great recommendations for places to eat and shop. Would highly recommended her home and we hope we can come back very soon!

My husband and I were very comfortable in this home. We had everything we needed. We did not use the hot tub or play any of the games, as we spent the majority of time away from the home, but we were given the opportunity to do so. The coffee was plentiful and the location very quiet and relaxing when we were there! We will definitely keep this listing on the top of our "places to stay" list when we return to Hampstead. Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

What a beautiful home for our family to relax in and enjoy the sounds of the ocean every day! James was a great host, welcoming and easy to contact. The house was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, with accurate photos and descriptions on line. We would love to visit again and will definitely recommend this house to our friends and family.

My family had a great stay at Alyssa’s place. Everything was as described, very clean, and convenient. Size was more than enough for 3 adults and 3 kids. We would love to come back again!

Walking into Sittin in the Sand our expectations were exceeded, as the photos don’t do the space justice, especially in the big open living area. Our family group of 6 adults, a toddler and two infants had plenty of room and options to enjoy group/individual time. From enjoying the kitchen and family area for joint meals to having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, along with lots of deck space and available seating, our group was able to relax and make some wonderful memories together. Having the ocean view and beach access was fantastic, even on days when some rain came thru. The home is tastefully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen, beach gear, ping pong table and bikes. This is truly a place where you can bring your personal items, pick up some groceries and have all you need to enjoy a great beach vacation. The host was friendly, communication was great and went above and beyond to accommodate a couple of our special requests. Can’t wait to return!

Susan’s AirB&B was very spacious and looks almost new. It is only a block away from the beach. The neighborhood has a private beach access. If you don’t want the crowds of Myrtle Beach and somewhere newer than the Outer Banks, Topsail is a great fit!!
