Discover Istria - renovated stone house

Casa Nona Roza was built by our family members in the early 20th century and it was a home of our grandparents. It was completely renovated in 2017, keeping in mind keeping the spirit of old times, combining Istrian tradition with all the elements of modern life. What makes it special is the use of traditional material: massive stone walls, wooden floors, wrought iron fence. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, dining room and living room combined in a single with air-conditioning , large bathroom and games room (darts, soccer table, bike room). On the second floor there are 3 rooms. Two bedrooms with double beds are air conditioning. One of them has the TV. The third bedroom has two single beds and the possibility of heating for cold days. Also on the same floor there is a large bathroom. What dominates the garden is a large meadow with a centennial tree under which in the afternoon you can be in the shade. In the back of the house there is a well built in 1920. Inside the building there are two parking spaces, one of which is covered. The whole property is surrounded by old walls.

This beautiful Art House with a pool is only a 15-minute walk from the old town of Labin. The house is equipped with designer lighting, art paintings, and has an infrared sauna, a room with fitness equipment and a massage table, and an indoor pool that is used during the winter months. The indoor pool can be used from Decembar to March ( 12.- 3.) and in other months of the year, guests can use the beautiful outdoor pool which is protected from view due to the tall green vegetation.

upon arrival in the spacious free parking, you can use the private entrance through the corridor to your room which is tastefully decorated, on the other side of the corridor is the bathroom with shower and toilet. Smoke-free and no pets are allowed throughout the stay. For a delicious breakfast, aperitif or just relaxing you can stay outside under the patio, where of course you can smoke.

We (49, 50) stayed 14 days with two dogs in the Tireli house. Marina and Alen and all the residents of Letajac are super nice and accommodating. We were waved to and honked at in a friendly way when we sat in front of the house. If you like, you can pet a dozen cats every day :-) We were supplied with fresh eggs and tomatoes. Numerous tips regarding restaurants, even off the beaten track. The 28 km drive to Boljun to the Konoba was worth the time. Day trip to the island of Krk with a visit to Krk town and Vrbnik (Marina's tips) was also fantastic. 10 liters of Alen's homemade olive oil (with silver medal) and gifts (thanks for the cute mini oil carafe to Marina) will keep us thinking about the vacation for a long time. The secluded bay of Duga Luka is great for dogs that were not welcome in Rabac. The pizzeria Rumore and ice cream from the cafe on the main square (both Old Town Labin) are awesome. It was great. Daniela and Korado welcomed us very kindly and first gave us a tour of the property. All communication was very friendly, uncomplicated and fast. Everything was as described and the view from the terrace is simply magnificent; the large pool was not only refreshing, but you could also swim in it very well. We had a wonderful time at the accommodation and felt very comfortable. We highly recommend the house and Daniela and Korado as hosts.

Fantastic Villa with a great Host! We had a very enjoyable week at Elenas Villa. The villa itself is exactly as described and unlike some we’ve stayed in before, it is exactly as the pictures suggest. Well kept and well equipped. It’s a lovely sleepy little village, lots of trails to walk, and great access to pula or further up the coast too. We really did feel like we were in the right area, with access to everything in a short drive. Most days we enjoyed the mile walk down the trail to Barban where there are a couple of great little restaurants. Elena was great, very detailed check in, nothing too much trouble to ask and very quick response to messages. Would Highly recommend it, and thank you so much for making it a great holiday!

super nice and friendly hostess great accommodation: as good as new, super equipped, fully corresponded to the description The only "criticism" is the location, the house is quite remote, and there is nothing to see or reach on foot. About 15 minutes away by car, there are Lidl, Plodine, DM, Müller and much more. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the beach in Rabac Otherwise, an absolute recommendation 👍
