Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Kisler Cottage - Rural retreat with a view

We call our lovely cottage "Kisler Cottage". It is located on the edge of Malanda which has all amenities, shops, period hotel, RSL , cafes and restaurants. Malanda is a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Kisler Cottage is fully self contained, well appointed with quality furniture, some made by master- craftsman Victor Kisler, hence the name. The views from the cottage front deck are spectacular. So are the sunsets.
