We were in the area for a Search and Rescue K9 training and needed some place that would accept dogs. We found this listing and we knew this was the place for us. With 130 acres our pups were able to take some great walks and play together after a day of learning. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your family home. We really enjoyed staying here. The house was perfect and was a great base to enjoy the outdoor activities around the PA Grand Canyon. The kitchen is awesome and we cooked breakfasts and a few dinners there - it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and it is so peaceful and quiet so we got good nights' sleep after busy days of hiking and biking. The location is great - close to the bike trail, state parks, hiking trails and Wellsboro. Unfortunately, the weather didn't entirely cooperate so we didn't get to use the fire pit (a bit too windy in the evenings we were there). We'd been looking forward to that because the outdoor space is great. But we did get to use the gas fireplace in the living room and just hung out. A very nice alternative! Kelsey is a great host and checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. She also quickly responded when we had any questions. Definitely a lovely place to stay!

I was looking for a glamorous cabin in the woods, and this was it! All the things I love about the woods but also luxuries like speedy WiFi, air conditioning, exceptional cleanliness, and the comfort of an up-to-date space. I traveled with my two young daughters (3 and 5 years old), and it felt so very safe. In addition to the lovely deck with the grill, table, and awning, there was a little trail behind the fire pit to explore and look for salamanders! The home is surrounded by mountain laurels, which was the nicest touch for this trio of explorers. Of special note: Frederick emailed the code to get into the house, which was a lifesaver when I arrived and realized I had no cell reception- but I had what I needed because of his foresight. Not to mention, the device for unlocking the door was a delight to use. Overall, I couldn't love this place more - would absolutely come again if Frederick would have us.

Thank you for a fantastic first Airbnb experience!! The house was exactly as described. We utilized the backyard fireplace to make smores and our host even gave us sticks to roast the marshmallows. It was the perfect place to stay so we could fish all day at Rainbow Paradise, which made a great father's day gift (He caught over 50 fish) and then an outing to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon the next day. Great experience!!

Reva is an incredible host with a great property. It was perfect for our short family vacation in the area. It was very affordable and not far from anywhere as long as you have a car. The town, and area in general is not really possible to visit without a car. Fortunately, we were able to borrow one from a friend and had a great stay sightseeing. We can recommend Pag-Omar Farms Market, Wellsboro House, and Frog Hut. Leonard Harrison State Park is beautiful and offers a couple different hike options from mild to relatively intense.

Great spot right in the heart of Wellsboro! Comfortable and quiet, close to the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

Our weekend visit to Cowanesque Lake was quite enjoyable as we were blessed with fantastic weather and beautiful views of the lake. Apartment #3  was extremely large and provided everything we needed. The a/c, wi-fi, other appliances worked fine --the host provided easy detailed check-in instructions, information, and passwords.  We found a couple of great local restaurant in Elkland-- good food and low prices.  The host  was very responsive and easy to contact.  We plan on visiting this area again and booking if available. thank you charlie. 

This loft apartment was a perfect stay for us, in between families we were visiting. We were only there over night, but it was very comfortable. Joshua responded to messages quickly and thoroughly. Provided clear instructions on map where place is located. Very fast and strong wifi included in stay. Also a smart TV in bed area that can be casted to. Wawa coffee pods and Keurig were available for use to us as well. Everything was thought of. Space heater was left on for us to arrive to. There were even extra blankets in the drawers. Interior of place and exterior surroundings are beautiful to boot! Very very pleasant and easy stay. Will definitely stay here again in future visits!

Wonderful apartment in downtown Elkland. In an area with no hotels it was the perfect place for our visit. Would absolutely stay here again.

It’s an older home but clean and quiet! We were in town for a race so didn’t have much time to relax but enjoyed a quick nap on the couch! The mattress in the main bedroom was amazing, very comfy!

We come to the area often for different reasons. The location is perfect if you are going to Wellsboro, PA Grand Canyon, Pine Creek etc. Our favorite local restaurant/ice cream/grocer is about a mile away.. that is Martins Pantry. We were up for the live Nativity at Three Springs Ministries which coincided with Dickens Christmas in Wellsboro. This apartment is perfectly located to attend.

The house is very new - not sure if the renovations were just completed, or if the house has not been rented much but everything inside was pretty much untouched. The overall design is usable and the bedrooms were spacious but well laid out. The kitchen and living room were great, we really liked the new applicances and the sofas were very comfortable. Huge TV in living room and the bedroom TVs were also large. Overall, we thought it was a very nice space. Only caveat is that there is no dining room/table so you have to use the large island. Limits seating to four, which was fine for the two of us and our dog.
