Monthly Rentals in Timberland

John has been a wonderful host. He was always responsive. He checked the weather conditions to help us plan our travel. He was accommodating to adjusting our travel plans due to poor driving conditions which was reasonable and kind. We couldn’t have asked for better communication in these situations. The space itself is perfect if you have a pup. Everything in the cabin is made for you to bring along your furry friend, from the roll of poop bags to the enclosed backyard. The cabin was clean and well stocked with practical amenities from real shampoo options to boot warmers which really came in handy after a snowy hike. It was a pleasure to work with John and stay at his place. We would return to this cabin.

Our group enjoyed our stay and we were happy to be able to bring along our dogs. There was great communication and they accommodated a later check out time and guest addition which we didn’t end up needing but it was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Sierra Sojourn cabin was such a treat. We found the place with ease, had great parking right at the base of the stairs, the check in instructions were crystal clear! Jolene went above and beyond to give us local recommendations and mentioned there was a pack and play and high chair we could use for our infant 6 month old daughter. We enjoyed our meals together with Jolene’s thoughtfulness! The cabin was spotlessly clean. One feature we loved was the close proximity of the hot tub to the back door and bathroom! This allowed us to get in and out of the outdoor hot tub quickly into the shower without feeling the least bit cold. I also appreciated that there was tea and coffee available. The pillows and bed were comfy, the guitar was a nice touch, and the cabin was perfectly cozy yet fresh and modern with natural light poring in from the windows. It was truly a dream stay and mini vacation in the woods for us, very close to the beautiful lake, cute restaurants, and grocery stores.

We had a great time at Lake Tahoe! The place was very cozy and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was super nice and communication was quick and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend!
