Our A-Frame is solar powered and surrounded by beautiful outdoor space. Inside a queen size bed, a futon, a large sofa and a cot. Outdoor sleeping we have a double person hammock with mosquito netting. We have NO running water, but supply a free standing cooler and basin for washing as well as an outdoor camp shower. There is NO kitchen, but we supply a camp stove, and a gas grill and a fire pit. Square footage of the A-frame is 600 sq. feet . Located on Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

Guests that stay with us can also visit our farm animals at our Peaks Of Otter Farm near the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have tons of baby goats and a litter of Collie puppies at the farm. "The Shepherdess Cottage" is a sweet place to visit. It has view of Cahas Mountain in Franklin County, Virginia. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bath. A very large kitchen open to great room. The house used to be a one room school house in early 1900's. It sits on one acre of land and has a rural surrounding. When we purchased it, it was completely gutted with all new construction as of 2018.
