Holiday houses in Thimari

Loukas' place was a treat to experience. It is a real home, used by the family, and therefore has character and an identity. The aesthetic choices of the interior design, the materials, and the landscaping are well-considered and create a beautiful whole. The setting, high up on the hill with a view so lovely of the sea and sunset, is almost a cliche of the reasons people visit Greece. And yet, we had complete privacy. Ms Giota, Loukas' mother and our contact, was gracious and efficient in dealing with our arrival and departure. A car is definitely a necessity; the nearest grocery story is almost 10 minutes away. But driving on the main road, especially in the evening, is visually stunning and leads to some nice eating places. Thank you for your hospitality.

Πολύ περιποιημένο διαμέρισμα με πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, άνετο μπάνιο και όμορφο μπαλκόνι. Διαθέτει ό,τι χρειαστείς για καθαριότητα. Σίγουρα θα το ξαναεπισκεφτούμε! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για τη φιλοξενία!

it was an excellent place to stay.great location walking distance from the beautiful thimari beach and the beachbars. peaceful surroundings, whatever you need for relaxation. feels home straight away and the place was extremely clean. great choice for a small family or a small group of friends or a couple!definitely coming back and would recommend the place!thank you Andrea and aggeliki !

We could not have loved this villa more! After a busy 2 weeks in Italy, we were looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Athens coast. The owner met us at the villa and to our surprise presented us with a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry which was much appreciated. Vas was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the restaurants and shopping in the nearby village of Palea Fokea. We took advantage of the outdoor kitchen and grilled fresh fish that we got from a nearby market. Taxi and tour operator had no issue finding the property. We stayed a week and spent more on this airbnb than we usually do but it was worth every penny when we got to experience the amazing sunset views from this villa.

L'accueil était chaleureux, nous n'avons manqué de rien et la maison était très propre. Merci. Situé à 15 min du cap sounion, un peu moins d'1 heure d'Athènes mais par une route agréable qui longe la côte. A 50 minutes d'une marina qui permet de faire du catamaran. A environ 1h30 de la région de Corinthes (canal et les vestiges...). Au nord-est, quelques ville balnéaires d'un intérêt limité pour nous, mais qui a permis de trouver de petits restaurants pour faire une pause dans les explorations de vieilles pierres. Ce logement est bien pour rayonner dans la région et surtout se situe au calme à distance des ville, néanmoins accessibles facilement en voiture. A quelques pas de la plage, ideale le matin, en journée ou le soir pour le couché de soleil ! Nous ne sommes allés sur d'autre plages que 2 ou 3 fois, car celle à côté de la maison etant très calme et familiale, elle était parfaite pour nous. Pensez au chaussons de plage si besoin car en Grèce beaucoup de galets.

Such a hidden gem! The place had a private garden where you can have your morning coffee in peace and quiet! Not only that Kostas and his wife were really friendly. Offering us coffee and also giving us some freshly picked plums to enjoy whilst staying there.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν εξαιρετική, οι οικοδεσπότες πολύ φιλικοί και ευχάριστοι άνθρωποι με διακριτικότητα και ευγένεια. Ο χώρος άνετος και ευρύχωρος (εσωτερικά και εξωτερικά). Ήταν καθαρά, αν και δεν υπήρχαν σαμπουάν, αφρόλουτρα κλπ. Επιπλέον, πετύχαμε λίγο ζεστές μέρες κι έτσι δεν ήταν αρκετοί οι ανεμιστήρες για δροσιά. Τέλος, για να φτάσουμε στο σπίτι υπήρχε λίγος χωματόδρομος και απότομη ανηφόρα στο τέλος που όμως μπορεί να ανεβεί αυτοκίνητο και να σταθμεύσει εσωτερικά της αυλής (αίσθηση ασφάλειας). Η περιοχή ήταν εξαιρετικά ήσυχη, μακριά από τους θορύβους του κέντρου. Με το αυτοκίνητο η απόσταση από την θάλασσα ήταν 5-7 λεπτά. Στους κεντρικούς δρόμους υπήρχαν πολλά μαγαζιά για φαγητό, ποτό, νυχτερινή έξοδο κλπ. Τέλος, οι κοντινές παραλίες είναι εξαιρετικές!

Logement IDYLIQUE ! Très joli et à l’abri des regards. On se sent vraiment bien et on a l’impression d’être comme à la maison. A l’intérieur, tout est pensé pour un séjour en famille : - Chambre séparée, - Jeux de société et console, - Douche extérieure pour retour de plage (qui est à 5 minutes à pied et qui vaut vraiment le détour), - Hamac et chaises dans les arbres. L’hôte est vraiment formidable, merci Dimitri ! Il nous accueille avec des spécialités grecques et du nécessaire dans le frigo. Il nous indique aussi les endroits à voir et où manger (entre autres). Nous recommandons vraiment ce cocon : pas mieux en rapport qualité prix et coup de cœur de vacances !
