Barn accommodation in Thiérache

We had a wonderful stay! The guest house was just right for our family. We were comfortable and felt welcome by our hosts. The area is just beautiful. There is a small village square within walking distance, as well as groceries, shops, and restaurants a short drive away. 10/10 would stay again!

Myself and two friends had a wonderful stay at Yannick's property. It was perfect as a base for us to explore the surrounding area by motorcycle. Clean and spacious with everything required. Don't be put off by the mile + walk to the boulangerie! Yannick was the perfect host and a great communicator.

+ very friendly and helpful landlords + large kitchen, very well equipped + Fridge freezer available + very nice, large garden with plenty of space for the kids + Children are welcome there + Good amenities for children (playroom, stroller, changing table) + the pizza oven is awesome - Low ceilings and door sticks (old half-timbered house) - quite soundproof

A magnificent converted barn in a peaceful area. The garden is outstanding. It isn’t overlooked and the host has 3 sets of garden furniture placed to follow the sun. The kitchen is very well equipment and a pack of breakfast food was there on our arrival. The host lives in the adjacent house and helped us find local restaurants. In face he booked them for us. He was helpful and friendly all the time we were there. WiFi is good. We loved our stay. There is a train to Paris centre from the nearby station which takes an hour. Be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom and toilet downstairs.

This is a very charming apartment which was very spacious and gave room for us to work, with an adequate kitchen that had everything we needed. The house has a rustic feel to it, which is natural given its age, and very nice character. The stay was very comfortable and we would return and stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at Laurence's, the house is very beautiful with crazy charm. Everyone is there with everything that is offered in the house, the children enjoyed finding a lot of indoor and outdoor games, the adults enjoyed playing ping pong and foosball. The house is very well equipped, there are all the necessary explanations, all the documentation about things to do around. Anyway, I think we could come back, it was a very pleasant discovery that will remain in my favorites!

Michiel’s place is simply beautiful. Located in a tiny village, the garden looks out on rolling hills, grazing sheep and idyllic fruit trees. The garden was our highlight, we spent all day in the sun and enjoyed a great BBQ underneath the cherry blossoms! The house is impressive, spacious and unique. The fireplace was a very nice extra. The kitchen is a bit small for ten people as mentioned in other reviews, but we managed just fine. It’s well equipped for sure. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean. The area has lots to do. We would come again. Thank you!

Space, ease and peace The property was more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe, so the surprise was very pleasant. The design is modern and airy. The exceptional communication skiĺls and sincere thoughtfulness of the owner added a lot of ease to our stay and made us feel even more comfortable and welcomed. Finally, the property is located in a very quiet area of the town with a nearby lake. This gave us a feel of relaxation and of a slowed down pace of life. Our family has enjoyed a very lovely time and the kids who had plenty of space to run inside and outside will probably have wonderful memories of this place. We will certainly return and with great pleasure! Thank you very much to Ludiwine and her family ;).

Even nicer than shown in the photos! Very spacious, comfortable house with lots of privacy. On both the ground floor and on a high a nice quiet bedroom with a spacious private bathroom. We stayed there with a couple of friends and had plenty of privacy because everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom on their own floor. The shared stays are conveniently arranged. A wonderfully large dining kitchen with wood stove where everything from wine glasses to pans is present. Upstairs a spacious living room with French doors to a roof terrace with beautiful views. Nice, discreet hosts who had a nice attention on the kitchen table upon arrival. The region is simple and authentic, not tourists. Tourist attractions like Amiens or the booth are half an hour away. Recommended!

What a stunning hidden gem! This gorgeous romantic hideaway has been loving crafted to an extremely high standard with great care and attention to detail. It feels very luxurious and private. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended and definitely worth the money. Best shower room ever!

we had a wonderful time here. the house is lovely and the garden/surroundings perfect for a nice rest after a day driving. the bedroom was very cozy and it was great that there was a baby bed available. Morgane is a great host and did everything to make us feel at home.

Perfect for 12 people with the provided space. 2 separate bedrooms on the ground floor are very convenient together with the sleeping cocones on the first floor. For later check out we paid an additional 75 euros.

What a wonderful stay. We had a great time at Peter’s. The airbnb was beautiful situated in a wonderful serene location. Peter was responsible helpful and friendly and the airbnb was gorgeous. Waking up with the view we had was really special. We only stayed 2 nights and were very sad we didn’t have longer. Definitely worth a visit.

Really great place to stay in nature. If you want to be awakened by the pheasants and love visiting the chickens, this is the place. We felt very comfortable. Everything is furnished with love, everything you need for a vacation. Louise responded immediately to inquiries and she and her husband made everything possible to help us as quickly as possible. The very clairaudient and secluded did not deter us! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic time! The house exceeded our expectations: spacious, sparkling clean and equipped with many comforts. There was also a surprising amount of toys for our 4-year-old son; he always found new toys in new places. He was even more enthusiastic than us if possible! Everything is also well explained to us and we were pleasantly received. Exactly the stay we were looking for, only a 15-minute drive from Pairi Daiza Zoo. Thanks Martin and Sophie!

Stay with friends that went perfectly in this idyllic house. We really appreciated the place and decor of the house ( as well as the amenities). The Nordic bath and sauna were much appreciated on weekends . The bedding is very comfortable, the house is spacious, the kitchen well equipped. Everything is very clean. The garden is relaxing and the environment is very quiet. The interaction with Laurence was perfect. I would highly recommend it

Pleasant stay in the green in a charming cottage, welcoming, comfortable, very well arranged, with pretty decor and close to many sites to visit and walks in the forests: Crépy en Valois, Pierrefonds, Compiègne, Senlis...

Nice place for a relaxing stay, good location for hiking / biking exploration.

Don, Inge and Pebbles (their dog) gave us a warm welcome. The barn is comfortable, well equipped and perfect for people working remotely (great internet). We loved the peaceful surroundings with lots of nature. Our dogs had lots of fun running around the garden.

We had a perfect stay at the very nice apartment from Isabelle. She was very responsive and very nice. We spend some very nice days in Lillie, which is beautiful.. 100% recommended!
