Loved Maarten’s boat. Was a great base for exploring Ghent and a 10-15 minute walk from lots of restaurants and the old town. Very close to T4 tram stop. We loved the cosy boat and walking the gangplank each day. Breakfast in a hamper at the door when we woke up! Maarten is an excellent host and very quick to respond.

Excellent hosting and value for money. Franck even helped me resolve a work issue. I highly recommend it.

A very friendly experience. The host was very welcoming and was able to advise us on nearby activities / restaurants. The possibility of doing activities thanks to the equipment offered on site was also appreciated. The setting is peaceful, friendly and well located. We spent three nights at four in the cabin of the captain of the houseboat Lucie. This is an experience! A cocoon where it's good to get warm after visiting the Christmas markets of Ghent and Bruges (quickly served by the highway). We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner as the kitchen is very well equipped. The rooms are narrow but that's normal, we're on a boat! In the morning the view of the canal is very pleasant with the sunrise over the water and the frozen grass! The bedding is very comfortable and the shower room functional. We all enjoyed this experience, especially since the hosts are very welcoming and present on the boat. We recommend this accommodation to people who love the unusual with comfort!

The location of this houseboat can’t be beat! Also, for the location and money, you will not find more space available. It worked very well for our family of 5. Be sure to be outside at sunset…walk 20 seconds under the bridge and catch an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. We dined above deck most occasions and enjoyed the views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a delightful surprise as well. My 11 year old described it as a sensory overload with water coming at you from so many spouts…ha!. We loved it. Also, Therese and her family are super helpful with advice and help if questions or a need arose. The boat itself was made in 1931 and man, it is gorgeous. This thing would easily cost a fortune to construct today given the superb quality of the wood and craftsmanship. Keep in mind that you are staying on a boat and not in a hotel room and you will love it.

We had a great weekend at this place! Everything was perfectly as described, very clean, well-equipped and perfectly located. Catherine was very responsive and thoughtful which made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and breakfast;-) and will not hesitate to come back! Thank you

Great experience! Something different than different. Clear explanation from Claire and instructions. The boat looked cozy and we cooked deliciously and sat outside with our wine. Everything works well. Bed is not for tall people, but it was lovely and nice and warm. Recommended.

Hervé was a great host, and the boat looked even better than in the photos! The stay was particularly nice because the boat was placed in the isolated nature without other boats around. The night was quiet and peaceful, and the boat had everything we needed. Our 3 years old daughter was very excited and she also had a great time. Thank you so much for this special stay!!

We were as a family, we really enjoyed Quentin's boat. The beautiful environment, the view of the Eiffel tower from the terrace in the stern was the best. It is a boat, so it has details that make it unique. It is close to the area where the tourist boats circulate on the Seine , so it moves a little. Very comfortable beds, excellent shower. There are washing machine that works ten points, and the boat has everything you need to cook. Very useful to have lavasecarropas and dishwasher. A very good Parisian experience.

Super stay in a calm neighbourhood. Been to the Olympics and it was wonderful to relax on the boat. Catherine is very responsive and super friendly. All questions answered quickly. Definitely recommended!

An idyllic location, peace and tranquility whilst being within easy reach of the attractions of central Paris. The boat is quriky and characterful, fabulous views of the Seine to wake up to and it had all we needed for my family of 4. My daughters (aged 9 and 11) shared a double bed most of the time, although they also slept a night each in the hammock. Great facilities for cooking, plus dishwasher and washing machine. It's a short walk into Le Port Marly for groceries, restaurants and transport links. The park on Ile de la Loge (right next to the boat) is a lovely location to stroll around, exercise, and for kids to play - it's also a source for drinking water. We really enjoyed this accommodation.

we slept very well, quiet environment, very nice stay, very friendly host, and a plus with bike rental at the entrance to the marina (30s walk) that makes it easy to visit this beautiful city
