The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

Surrounded only by meadows and fields, hidden behind the village pond, lies the small manor estate with its main house and old stables. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. The mobile home is located on a natural property in a village of 50 inhabitants on the edge of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The Baltic Sea is just under an hour away and in the immediate vicinity, various lakes invite you to swim as well as meadows and forests invite you to hike. In the village there is a small organic shop where you can buy fresh eggs, bread, rolls and everyday necessities.

"Kontor" for 2 in the post-socialist manor house

The "Kontor" is a spacious, stately apartment with marodem charm for 2 people that is located in the right wing, on the ground floor of the house. In 2011, I acquired the manor house in Kobrow from the point of view of reviving and maintaining a small piece of the cultural heritage of our country. The 30 sqm newly renovated apartment has a double bed with closet and secretary, a sofa, TV, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with small table. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet/shower. It is perfect for a quiet holiday. The beach is about 30 minutes by car. The apartment is suitable for 1-2 adults or for 1 adult and 1 child. The house has a well-kept outdoor area, where the barbecue can also be turned on.

The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming apartments and lovingly designed representative rooms. Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished and spacious Georg suite. The suite, named after the last landlord, has two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub, all with its 85 m². From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire estate.

Ferienhaus Dorfidyll is located in a village about 15 minutes from Rostock. It is about 30 minutes to the beach/ Baltic Sea. In the 15-minute radius is e.g. the Vogelpark Marlow or the Karls Erlebnishof in Rövershagen. 🍓 We are happy to welcome you to our beautiful holiday home.
