Hay Loft Flat

Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people, comprising of 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed downstairs. The views from every angle of the property are utterly breathtaking. Both barns are recent conversions and have many original features as well as modern comforts including underfloor heating downstairs, excellent WiFi, and finished to a high standard. Part of the ‘Cliffe Park Farm Stays’ and situated on a working farm, with parkland which has 3/4 mile frontage to Rudyard Lake as well as having the Staffordshire Way footpath running through makes this a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.
