It was a serene and refreshing stay, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life! Waking up to the melodious chirping of birds and a stunning mountain view was truly magical. The hosts, John and Daise, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, checking in regularly to cater to our needs. The food, prepared on request, was delectable, and they even arranged a cozy bonfire that added a special touch to our evenings. I highly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Kodaikanal!

Double Dutch is located in a beautiful spot by the kamaraj lake. Wonderful for swimming. Very peaceful little village of athoor. We stayed in shanti nivas house which is across the road from the main house. Very rustic, set in a small Hill with a few other rooms. Lots of greenery around. The staff are very friendly and kind. Meal timings are set but staff were very accommodating of us and our timings. All guests eat together on the roof top. This is a quiet resort. Rooms are clean and good size , mattress very comfortable, bathroom is spacious with a good solar water heater. The host is very friendly but also gives you your space. We were the only Indian guests at the time. We were very grateful that our Labrador was also allowed to stay with us. Great place. Do visit.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and surrounded by the calm beauty of nature. Nestled in the middle of a lush coffee plantation, it offered the perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive — making sure every detail was taken care of. One of the highlights of the stay was getting to try their organic honey (they keep their own bees on the property!) and the freshly brewed estate coffee — both are an absolute must-try! Waking up to the sounds of birds and the smell of coffee in the air was such a unique experience. This place is a hidden gem, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Would definitely love to return!

Extremely friendly and kind of Ravi uncle to host us , he has such a positive attitude and was available at all times to assist us. Ambience is superb, in the lap of hills , and the food cooked in the kitchen is fantastic. The staff is also very friendly, if you tell your food requirements in advance, they will prepare the items. Lovely stay, would definitely book this for my next visit as well.

Me and my friends booked Daise's property, it was the best decision we made. It is away from city noise and clumsiness. The stay was amidst lush greenery, coffee plantation which made the experience great. We can get glimpses of wildlife like giant squirrel, wild bison at times too. Food is available (charged accordingly) , and it was so good and much reasonable in price than other restuarant. The place has ample parking space so there is nothing to worry. For anyone who's looking to have a peaceful, memorable stay in kodaikanal, i would recommend Daise's property.
