This place was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. Cozy, spotless, and so thoughtfully put together — we were greeted with delicious treats, a bottle of wine, and a handwritten note that instantly made us feel welcome and cared for. The fireplace was warm and comforting (we spent most evenings curled up in front of it), and the whole space had a charm and personality you rarely find in short-term rentals. No generic IKEA furniture here — just a beautifully curated space that felt like a real home. Also loved the outdoor seating areas and wished we had gotten to use the outdoor fire pit! The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which made it so easy to settle in and enjoy meals without missing a thing. Everything was clean, cozy, and clearly cared for. And Dean and Gina were helpful and responsive every step of the way. We’d come back in a heartbeat — and highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and personal getaway.

Another great stay in Sandra’s house, always feels like home from home. If staying in Hawick, give this house a try, you will not be disappointed.

Quirky gatehouse at huge local park, where the Hawick Museum is. Great walks, right by the river, central location and great property to stay in.
