Family-friendly holiday rentals in Terre-de-Bancalié

The place is very pretty (beautiful view), very quiet. The house is very large and very pleasant to stay in. There are 2 more listings nearby but we had our privacy. Philippe is kind, he lives in the accommodation next door and is very discreet. The sauna jacuzzi pool area is charming and pleasant for young and old.

Perfect accommodation in a pleasant, peaceful and quiet setting. The summer kitchen as well as the kitchen in the house were very well equipped. Bocce ball court, heated swimming pool with many deckchairs, ping pong table, foosball, everything is well thought out for holidaymakers. Stephane and his wife are responsive, welcoming and warm.

We had a pleasant stay in this accommodation as well as with our two dogs, located in a quiet area off the street, ideal for total disconnection! (In any case the wifi/network are of the same opinion😉). Very well-equipped accommodation whether in the kitchen (it feels like home, nothing is missing!) or in the other rooms too! The jacuzzi and heated pool are a real plus that allowed us to enjoy it throughout the stay despite the sometimes capricious weather! In addition, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and responsive when needed! In short, if you are visiting the area or want to discover it for a longer period, this is a good place! Looking forward to it 😉

Villa was amazing and exceeded expectations. The pool was a great size, there was plenty of space for the nine of us and the hosts were excellent.

The home was beautiful and in a great central location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. Would recommend!

We had a pleasant WE in Orane and Fred's cabin, welcoming Fred fast and accurate in his instructions. The hot tub session overlooking the Pyrenees allowed us to disconnect and start this WE as a family. The cabin is really beautiful, cozy and made us feel timeless, great experience!! We will come back with sunnier weather to enjoy all the activities and visits to do in this pretty corner of Aude.

We went there with a group of 17 people. Everything went really well! Lots of activities available (darts, ping-pong, sauna), a view of fouuuuu, and a really excellent overall atmosphere. It's a great place to party. For those wondering if there are people next to Airbnb: yes, the host lives on the same land. However, everything is well soundproofed inside, so no noise concerns to be expected. Host is very nice! A little special mention for her two really adorable dogs. Giselle barks a little, but don't worry, he's a real love ahah. Anyway, I recommend it ++ (Feel free to call the host directly to book without going through Airbnb, it can save a little!)

We had a fantastic holiday in the most beautiful accommodation and setting that we have ever stayed (and we like nice places 👌). The rural and peaceful setting is idilic, the house is so charming and Gilles was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay! The setting is extraordinary to rest around a welcoming fireplace area. The terrace, despite the season, is perfect for "brunch" when the sun comes up. LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.
