It is 6 miles to the entrance of BBNP. The river, mountain biking, hiking, and stables are nearby. Our remodeled 1200 sq. ft. adobe house features one bedroom with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, large bathroom with tiled shower, fire pit, and two covered porches.

Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.
