Beautiful house on the slopes. Amazing view from the house just like in the pictures. I thought the house looks much better than the pictures. Nicole was extremely kind but perhaps communication was a little affected by google translate but all is fixed since I had a Swiss friend. For ASEAN guests, please take note that the garbage bags are paid so usually they use 1 bag for the stay and please take note of the trash organisation instructions on the kitchen bar. - This has nothing to do the owner but a cultural difference good to note. The place is wonderful and the kids (Swiss and Asian) all loved the play area. Superb! Highly recommended.

Eine tolle, gemütliche Wohnung, mit allem was es braucht, um sich schnell wohlzufühlen. Es ist sehr gemütlich, man schaut ins Grüne, der Bach rauscht. Auch unsere beiden Teenager waren begeistert. Fabrizio ist ein sehr herzlicher und offener Gastgeber mit Tipps und guten Informationen. Aus unserer Sicht fast ein Geheimtipp, wenn man Natur sucht und doch mit dem Bus zügig einkaufen oder durch Locarno Bummeln möchte.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Einfach eine tolle Unterkunft für Urlaub im Tessin. Brigitte hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Sie gab uns tolle Empfehlungen für die Gegend, die wir direkt ausprobiert haben und hat unseren Urlaub mit ihrem Wissen über das Tessin bereichert. Das Tessiner Haus ist sehr schön, praktisch und überlegt eingerichtet und bietet besonders draußen wundervolle Sitzmöglichkeiten mit tollem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und den Lago Maggiore in der Ferne. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Geräte funktionieren alle hervorragend. Auch der Weinkeller lädt zum Probieren ein. Die Kiste mit Reiseführern, Karten und Prospekten haben wir in unsere Tagesplanung immer gerne mit einbezogen. Uns hat auch die Lage des Hauses gefallen. Etwas entfernt von großen Hauptstraßen, aber auch nicht zu weit abseits. So waren die Fahrten zu den Ausflugszielen sehr angenehm und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren mit dem Auto einfach und schnell zu erreichen

Een heerlijk huisje in een authentiek dorp. We hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras op de lekkere bank, heerlijk geslapen op de goede bedden (ook de sofabank) en de regendouche was ook super. Het contact met Kathi en Ivan was zowel snel als heel vriendelijk, gebruik vooral hun reisgids want daar staan hele goede aanbevelingen in. Pognana is een pareltje, je kunt mooie wandelingen maken naaf boven en op het 'strand' beneden zit je in no time. Bar Sonia boven is heel goed en gezellig, je bent er zo een vaste klant. Ook Marvin, onze hond, heeft genoten, er was nog een verrassing voor hem bij aankomst, heel lief! Je zit heerlijk privé in het huisje, soms hoor je de bovenburen, maar dat was niet storend. Van Bar Sonia hoor je overigens niets. Heel erg bedankt dat we mochten blijven en hopelijk tot ziens!

Die Wohnung ist sehr traditionell in einem alten Steinhaus, im wunderschönen Verzasca Tal gelegen. Der Ort ist der ideale Standpunkt, um das Tal mit der schönen Natur, aber auch Locarno und Ascona zu erkunden. Bitte beachten: der Ort ist an einem Stausee, dort kann man nicht schwimmen! Auch gibt es im Tal keine Supermärkte, Bäcker etc, Einkäufe am besten vorher erledigen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber, die Küche voll ausgestattet, die Lage sehr ruhig. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. (Es gibt steile Treppen im Haus, für sehr kleine Kinder nicht geeignet). Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten einen super tollen Aufenthalt bei Doris. Die Wohnung ist super schön und ruhig gelegen. Der Garten ist bezaubernd. Doris hat uns tolle Tipps für die Gegend gegeben und war super freundlich und herzlich. Wir empfehlen jedem einen Aufenthalt bei ihr.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Katie’s beautiful apartment in Ronco sopra Ascona. The view is absolutely breathtaking – Lake Maggiore stretches out at your feet, with Ascona and the Brissago Island in full view, framed by the surrounding mountains. The long hours of sunshine on the spacious terrace were a true highlight. The apartment is nice furnished, very well maintained, and offers plenty of space with its three bedrooms – ideal for families or small groups. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared – you can tell Katie is a thoughtful and caring host. The location is peaceful, yet just a short drive from Ascona and the lake. The combination of privacy, stunning views, and comfort makes this place a real gem. We’d love to come back – thank you, Katie!

Everything was perfect!! The apartment was spacious, well furnished and so comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked with premier utensils. The location was great to explore the waterfront and beautiful surroundings. We parked in the 30 minute lot at the head of the street to load and unload. The parking pass that he provided for us was a key benefit. We would highly recommend Stefano’s apartment and would surely stay there again.

Wunderschöne Wohnung oberhalb von Locarno. Sehr gut und schnell auch mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation und der Check in war unkompliziert und schnell. Wir wurden herzlich Wilkommen geheissen mit Wein aus dem Tessin und kaltem Wasser im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung war gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet sowie sauber. Perfekte grösse für 2 Personen. Der Blick von der Terasse war unglaublich! Die Unterkunft können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with a newborn in this charming attic apartment. Located on the third floor of a rustic chalet, the space was cozy, and the view overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The apartment was well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed (and more). The espresso coffee machine—such a thoughtful touch! Convenient private parking made coming and going stress-free. since the apartment is on the third floor and accessed via stairs, packing light is a good idea—but the climb is well worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. Though the stairwell is technically shared with the owner who lives on the lower floors, it never felt like a shared space. We had full privacy throughout our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable retreat in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with modern comforts at hand.

Kleine, feine Unterkunft, mit einer offenen und kommunikativen Gastgeberin, welche immer gut zu erreichen war. Wir haben abends die Ruhe und der wunderschöne Blick vom Garten auf den See genossen, und waren entzückt von den Glühwürmchen. Sehr gerne empfehlen wir die Unterkunft weiter. Danke liebe Ruth!!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit im Bijou Cardada verbracht - auch begünstigt durch das Wetterglück. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, gut ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen sind die ca. 135 steilen Treppenstufen zum Cardada und auch oben gelegenen Cimetta hinauf. Die Schlepperei unserer Koffer und Lebensmittel war trotz der tatkräftigen Hilfe von zwei sehr sportlichen Männern mühsam. Hätten wir das von vornherein gewusst hätten wir anders gepackt oder nur Rucksäcke mitgenommen. Nächstes Mal wüssten wir das. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber.

Andreas ist wirklich ein Super-Host: sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir durften sogar seinen Garagen-Platz benutzen. Die Kommunikation war äusserst unkompliziert und alles gut beschrieben. Die Lage des historischen Hauses ist einzigartig: einmalige Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore und die Berge sowie der wunderbare Garten und die super ausgestattete Loggia vor der Wohnung laden zum Verweilen ein. Der Dorfladen ist zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar und ist mit dem Wichtigsten für den täglichen Bedarf ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmacksvoll aber auch praktisch eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden (sogar Kaffee!), das Bett ist sehr bequem, und die Aussicht vom Schlafzimmer aus ist einzigartig. Während unserem Aufenthalt war es noch etwas kalt, wir konnten die Räume aber gut heizen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt im Cà la Rocca sehr genossen und können's von Herzen weiter empfehlen.

Alessandra a été proactive et nous a bien conseillé. Son appartement est très propre et bien rangé. Il offre tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour, même prolongé (cuisine, terrasse, etc). L’endroit est très calme. Il préférable d’avoir son propre véhicule mais les transports publics sont aussi possible pour aller directement à Lugano ou Bellinzona. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour un séjour au Tessin. Merci Alessandra!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaft schönen Lage – ideal zum Entspannen. Andrea und Raffi waren sehr herzlich, herrlich unkompliziert und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, man merkt, dass hier viel Herz drinn steckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns bei Sonja vom ersten Empfang heimisch gefühlt. In der Wohnung fehlte es uns an nichts. Sie ist vollständig und für körperlich eineschränkte Gäste ausgestattet, bis hin zum Nähzeug und kleinen Gesellschaftsspielen. Eine familiäre Atmosphäre haben wir auf dem gesamten Gelände gespürt, mit Spielsachen und -geräten für Kinder. Sonja war uns gegenüber immer verbindlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Aufenthalt, den wir schon heute zu unseren schönsten Urlaubsunterkünften zählen und uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans un endroit absolument idéal pour se reposer. Le cadre est très calme, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac parfait pour déconnecter. Nous avions un logement avec une cuisine extérieure, ce qui était vraiment super agréable pour profiter pleinement de l’environnement. La chambre était très bien, confortable et propre. Le lieu est aussi parfaitement adapté pour un séjour avec un petit enfant : il y a un bac à sable, une balançoire, quelques jouets sur place, une chaise haute, un lit bébé… même des jeux de société pour les soirées en famille. Les propriétaires sont adorables, avec plein de petites attentions qui font la différence : à notre arrivée, des fruits frais, des yaourts, des bières… Et pour ceux qui aiment leur tranquillité, pas d’inquiétude, on ne les a presque pas vus Le seul petit point d’amélioration selon moi serait l’ajout d’une petite piscine ce serait vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. Mais sinon, tout était top, un vrai petit coin de paradis

Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bei Andja für die schönen Tage in Locarno bedanken. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sauber, gut gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Kurztrip nach Locarno braucht. Andja war ausserdem sehr gastfreundlich, was unseren Aufenthalt umso angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei.🌸

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal in Gordevio und in Stefanos Unterkunft. Der wunderschöne Ort und das top ausgestattete Appartement fühlt sich für uns fast schon wie ein zweites Zuhause an. Wir kommen wieder, da es im Maggiatal einfach soo viel zu entdecken gibt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Our stay was perfect, exactly what we needed! The place was really clean + some really nice things I found (vs other Aibnbs): high quality pans to cook! Nespresso machine, very nice closet for all our clothes, everything we needed for kids, including dishes, and super easy to get in and out! The hosts were very communicative and answered quickly when we had questions. All-in-all, we loved it.
