Simple and beautiful - the Auvergne is worth it!

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. Here you’ll find animals living freely, such as our two nice pigs, four woolly sheep, chickens, ducks and rabbits. Our four cats – Panthera, Schneepard, Marmor and Chaudchat – would love for you to come and stroke them! :)

If you want to recharge your batteries, this is the place! Located 5 minutes from St Eloy Les Mines and Gorges de la Sioule. In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

It welcomes you with friends and family for many outdoor discoveries/activities. Cell phones have some reception in the entrance of the mill and otherwise outside.

Equipped kitchen, walk-in shower in bathroom, hair dryer, linen, washing machine, elec. coffee maker, gas stove & oven. Parking just beside the house. Sorry, no pets.
