Welcome to our B&B Bonnie Doone. We live on site with our Daughter and dogs Russell & River and love hosting guests from around the world. 5 minutes from the heart of Te Awamutu and 30 minutes from Hamilton, we are central to all things Waikato. Perfect for a quiet weekend retreat or a quick stop over on your journey. House trained dogs are welcome and we have a fully fenced, secure area to keep them contained. You must choose the option of a pet when booking so we can plan for their arrival.

The Potter’s Pad

The Potter’s Pad is a gorgeous, private tiny home in the foothills of Pirongia Mountain, with stunning countryside views in every direction The perfect place to experience off grid living but with all the luxuries. Beautifully furnished and full of unique handmade pottery, relax in our hammock chairs and soak up the sunset by the outdoor fire pit Talk to the horses while you listen to the nearby stream and birdlife instead of traffic, although only a two minute drive in to Pirongia Village

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. Lovely comfortable self-contained cabin for two adults. It is situated 10 minutes from Lake Karapiro, and Cambridge. The Velodrome, Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek are 15 minutes away. Relaxing setting in gardens in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchenette comes with a kettle, microwave, and toaster but no hob, stove, or oven. Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.
