You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater to group travel, family travel and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way limit.For 5 or more people, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult with us in advance. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period.It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been designated as a Jūdenzensetsu Conserved Area and still has many lacquerware shops. Our house is available for one group per day, without meals, and as a whole house rental.It takes a little time to get around, and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in this old house in the valley, so in the warmer seasons, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail.We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
