This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) Advance reservation is required. In the evening, I also run a tavern next door, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

The built-in storage in the house is very rare in this area and is worth seeing. If you are in the stone storehouse, you will definitely feel indescribable! We renovated an old private house that was originally a tea room for Airbnb. The architect is Saeko Yamada. It is a small space of about 10 tsubo, but it is a historic old private house wrapped in soft and colorful light, and I hope you will have an experience that sharpens various senses. It is a quiet residential area, so only those who follow the house rules can use it. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 13, including infants, as there are many hazards for children. * As a general rule, this building is not allowed to enter other than guests. * We renovated an old Japanese-style house, which used to be a tea room, for use on Airbnb. The architect was Suzuko Yamada. * As a rule, this building is not open to non-guests. *

In Ohinata, Sakuho-town, Nagano-pref. We built a small cottage at a mountain side of the natural woodland which separated for a while from the colony. The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
