This place was awesome—just keep in mind it’s at a campground and has (clean) shared bathrooms!

It was a wonderful stay at Robert's. The cabin was immaculately clean. Robert was on site to meet us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property itself was spacious enough for us, without being too big. Everything was well stocked too, some milk in the fridge a nice touch. Had two gorgeous dogs that lived there and wander the grounds, so soft and were excellent with our two boys. We extended our stay as we were very happy with location and property. Would happily stay again.

Lovely place to stay. There was great surrounding places to eat and the beach right there. Rose welcomed us in and made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Really lovely peaceful spot with all the amenities you need plus extras. Great location, close enough to town but also far enough to be calm and quiet. Great hosts, very responsive and accommodating.

Had a great stay at Ingrid’s place, our toddler loved the animals and our puppy loved the space to run around. The cottage itself is cosy and welcoming, has everything you need. I really appreciated the quality and natural products provided, not to mention the dynamite water pressure! Pluto was also an absolute cutey and we loved playing fetch with him.

Beautiful place and a spectacular Host! Nicky went out of her way to accommodate us and was very helpful. I would definitely love to stay again and spend more time here !

It was a beautiful location with perfect access to the rest of Golden Bay! Nothing felt too far and it was always lovely to return to the cozy caboose.

Very peaceful surroundings. Private, well set up little cabin with everything you need for a short stay. Host was lovely and helpful and made us a great dinner and breakfast. Just what we needed after a long day's cycling!

Lovely house truck perfect little hideaway. Loved the old copper storage tank and how the water taps are brass with copper lines.

We stayed at The Barn for my partner’s birthday. Loved the outdoor bath, the location, the ducks (especially our one friend who would visit us every day). The beach access path made the National Park feel like a private extension of our little home. There weren’t a lot of options nearby for food as many places close for winter so I’d recommend grabbing groceries in a nearby town before heading in. The Barn had a small general store & we had the best burgers at Fat Tui nearby. The staff & the scenery were fantastic and we are excited to come back in the future for another stay. Thank you!

Our stay at Awaroa Bach was unforgettable. Elva and Geoff were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, offering local insight that helped us make the most of our visit. The bach is peaceful, well-appointed, and perfectly located with easy access to the estuary and nearby water taxi stops. We loved the spacious bedroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from Elva’s garden. A highlight was kayaking at high tide and spotting manta rays—truly magical. On our last night, we shared dinner with Elva, Geoff, and some neighbors, which made us feel genuinely at home. Highly recommended.

Claudia's property is amazing and will tickle anyone who loves something a bit wild and intrepid! The view from the bedroom cabin over the bay is amazing. The outdoor bath was so relaxing, once we got the hang of feeding the stove correctly. The atmosphere was 10/10 and you won't struggle to feel at home here if you like the outdoors and going off the grid.

A friend and I stayed here over the New Years break after wanting to get away from the usual NYE celebrations. This place was the perfect getaway, with its peaceful tranquility and picturesque surroundings, we couldn’t recommend it more. Just over a 20 minute drive to Motueka, the drive itself is breathtaking. Mike & Beth were the perfect hosts :)
