Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Tarrafal

A nice little apartment, 20 minutes walk to the beach. There are convenience stores next door and you can easily find taxis. However, a lot of wind in the evening that slams the windows and can cause difficulty sleeping. A big favorite for the view of the city from the huge terrace. Thanks so much Sonia!

Definitely recommend this flat,clean,great location just a few blocks from the bus stop which was really handy. Super markets & restaurants around,safe quiet neighborhood, great amenities. 10/10

The unit is just as shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean place. New Development. Building seems to be very safe. A key is needed for the main door to access inside in the building. Safety and security was big for me and this place did feel secure. The cleaning lady was amazing and helpful. Rooftop is shared so laundry is left to dry up there but I never had any issues with my neighbors. Only downsides were the water did run out and we did not have any running water for a few hours. The master bedroom door did lock on it’s own and would not open, there was an issue with the handle it came loose and was not operating properly. Besides those two hiccups I enjoyed my time there. I stayed for about 15 days and felt at home.

We felt very comfortable with Madilu. The location is perfect and easily accessible. The apartment is lovingly and charmingly furnished. We particularly liked the open kitchen on the terrace. There are numerous restaurants nearby, the grocery stores are easily accessible and the sea is on the doorstep. Cidade Velha is a special place as well as the accommodation of Madilu. We'll be sure to recommend

Frankly my experience in Cape Verde could not have gone better, I really enjoyed the accommodation and the host was always there for us, we lacked nothing and at no time did we feel disturbed frankly I recommend it

My mother and I were guests at Tété and her family's house for two weeks - with an island-hopping break in between. We actually wanted to stay in the separate flat on the ground floor. But as this was not possible, we stayed in the two guest rooms in the family home. And I have to say that looking back it was a great added value. By living with Tété and her family, we learnt and experienced a lot that would otherwise have remained hidden from us. Not just the discovery of our new culinary highlight: "bissap" (hibiscus flowers) as juice and jam for breakfast (delicious!) - if you want to get close to Cabo Verde, its people and its culture, Casa Tété with all its family members is the right place for you! Tété was very attentive and helpful the whole time and shared a lot of her extensive knowledge and experience with us. She is the engine, the heart and the soul of this Airbnb! We stayed one night at the apartment near the airport because our flight was arriving at night. And Manuel was able to welcome us properly in very good conditions and finds us a taxi. Thanks to him for his responsiveness and flexibility

We had a lovely stay at Mimi’s place ! Mimi was really friendly and relaxed and we felt like in our own house. The kitchen was simple but has everything you need if you want to cook simple things. The place is a bit far from the beach but the walk there is very nice, we went for a run every morning :)

top airbnb. you can hear the waves at night from all sides, very relaxing. its important to have a rental car, because its far outside of praia (30min).

The location and view are perfect, thoughtful people, breakfast served facing the pool and ocean. Even though accessibility to the listing is a little difficult, the instructions are clear and the place is worth discovering!
