Monthly Rentals in Tar Heel

We enjoyed our stay. The house is older but really cute inside! It was near to restaurants and the lake. It was clean and private and we felt safe. We will definitely stay there again!

What a find! We were delighted to stay at Arleen’s and will readily do so anytime we need an overnight in the area. Immaculate throughout. Very nice to have laundry and a well appointed kitchen. Arleen has thought of every thoughtful detail to make this experience over the top wonderful.

Ben was a great host. Very responsive. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, then this is your spot. It is rural and rustic. You can observe farm life, cows, and horses, youll spot all kinds of wildlife like rabbits and deer. You are not too far away from shops and stores. Local people are kind. Ben goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great and he treats you very well. I'd love to come back someday soon. Thank you Ben for all you did for me and opening your place to us!

What a cute little place, reminded me of an Adobe. When you first walk in, you are met with a cascade of books- beautiful books. Just make sure you put them in the right place after reading them. There were many books on the history of North Carolina, and lots of classics. The beds are so comfortable as was the comforter. The hosts are very environmental conscious-which is nice. Would recommend!
