We loved the View of Kinnaur Kailash! I was amazed to see the view. I will certainly recommend the place. Akash listing is worth visiting. The listing was clean, easy to checkin, staff in the listing was very nice, helpful and communicative. All the amenities were working, as it was too cold so heater in the listing played important role. We liked the food, however, you can get better options in Rekong peo but it is 5 KM down hill. Last 300m to the listing was touch to drive and the hairpin curves are steep. 4X4 was recommended. But once we reach the place, this is worth every penny.

Folktales Residency is as romantic and folksy as it sounds. The wooden home is decorated beautifully. It’s an ideal place for solo travellers and people who are looking to relax in a picturesque location. The collection of books that the host has are enviable. The entire vibe of the place was perfect- warm and cosy, artistic, for the imaginative! And the food is definitely one of the best I have had. Ishaan was welcoming even though I arrived at siesta time, he’s friendly and takes care of the guests. I had the best of time and I look forward to staying there again soon. Location is 5-10 minutes from where Rakchham meadows begin. Property is surrounded by mountains and greenery.

Good place to halt before you begin your journey to the beautiful Kinnaur region. The host and cook (Mr Jeevan and Gopal) are very friendly and and they made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Host Bhupesh is responsive and available on call if you need any assistance.The homestay has nice view of snow capped mountains. The amenities are as per listing and basic. Bhimakali temple, Hawa Garh and Monastery (walkable) are short drive (5 to 15 mins) from here. Overall, if you’re are looking for budget friendly accommodation then this is one of good homestay around Sarahan.

Booked the place for a day during Mid October. Temperature drops to -6 at night, but room has heater and heated blankets. Basic amenities were provided and bathroom was clean. Food can be order in the room/dome or you can go to the restaurant/kitchen and have it there. Place is 100% as described by the host. People who smoke will have to do it outside the dome( temperature does go sub zero at evening/night) as smoking is not allowed inside the dome(cigarette/hookah). Overall the experience was good.

Situated a few kms off the jeori-kalpa highway, it's a great accommodation for travellers going to the spiti valley. Mr. Jitesh and his family were extremely hospitable, and provided all the help that they could. The food was exactly how you'd expect-like home, and very delicious. The family who hosted us were very warm and made us feel like home, and we'd love to stay here again whenever the opportunity arrives to travel to Spiti.

Very Excited to share my experience as i was initially concerned about the place but it turn out to be my one of the best experience, this place is very peaceful, scenic view and comfortable stay. Hospitality is top notch and home cooked food is delicious 😋. Nikita and her family is doing awesome job, they can help you and guide you all the best option for nearby travel. The place is perfect if you are using buses for transportation - 7-8 min walk to the bus stop. View is great and perhaps the best interiors from any hotel in Reckong Peo. Food is good and they have used new advanced fittings as well. Anurag is a wonderful host, one of the best hosts I have stayed with. Took us around Kalpa and some crazy points as well. Was always available, even kept our bags for a day as we had a stay at some other property for one night. If you want to stay in Reckong Peo, would 100% recommend this place.

Wonderful host and beautiful peaceful place. The walk to homestay is picturesque. Warm homely food. surrounded by trees and plants, quiet and peaceful place and we loved the stay at Farnvilla Homestay. Amazing view of the mountains and beautiful orchards to have a walk around. Sanjay is an amazing host, very helpful with instructions and local recommendations.
