Monthly Rentals in Taoyuan District

Place isn't the most convenient as there's not much around and you need to take the bus to get to places. Even for meals, the nearest place was a 20 minute walk away, and it is through the road as there are no walking paths. At night, there won't even be streetlights on at certain areas of the road. We stayed here mainly because it was relatively closer to Alishan and that was where we wanted to explore, but it'll still take about an hour to go, though a direct bus. Hosts were a really nice and friendly couple who gave recommendations and also helped fetch to and fro the nearby area to get dinner. The hosts also operate a tea shop below the room, engaged us in chat and really made us feel welcomed. They let us try different sorts of their tea which tasted really good. There's no pressure to buy them, but I bought some back for my colleagues and my colleagues like them as well. Consider this place if you want a more local experience and want to try the local tea.

Located at Alishan Highway 18, the accommodation is easy to find. Our host is very helpful and provided useful information for our trip to Alishan. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a tea tasting session, which we felt very much welcomed. The room is spacious, nicely decorated. There is a common area at the back which we could use. The only shortcoming is that the room is windowless so we could not let fresh air in. Overall, we enjoy our stay, and appreciate the tea making knowledge that our host shares with us. It's quite an eye-opener.

Jimmy was a fantastic host, so helpful, responsive and kind. The room was perfect and the surroundings are beautiful! Would definitely recommend this to anyone exploring the beautiful Alishan region of Taiwan.
