The kitchen garden or berry picking before breakfast (summer), coffee in bed with the tranquillity of spectacular forest and lake views. Cozy accommodation with a central location at Stange city center in Granbakkvegen 2. The apartment is located in the basement of a detached house. It has a private entrance and a private spacious patio, well suited for both meals and socializing. The apartment and the associated patio are east-facing and have morning sun. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is a short distance to nice hiking areas both in summer and winter, and only a short drive down to Mjøsa. Walking distance to train and bus.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøslis nature. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
