It's right next to the river, so you can swim, and you can go to the river from the open-air bath.There is also a deck, so please use it for breakfast and coffee breaks. On the opposite side of the river, diagonally, there is a neighbour's garden, so it is not a completely private space.We recommend bringing your own swimwear. This sauna stove is a Japanese-made dry sauna stove.You can enjoy a high-temperature sauna. There are two bedrooms (two beds each) and two lodge-style bedrooms, two sets of futons each. In addition to the bathroom with a bathtub, there are two shower rooms. There are 3 washrooms and 2 toilets. On rainy days, there is also plenty of space to enjoy darts, putters, and more. This is a private rental accommodation on a hill overlooking the water horizon of Yakushima Island, a World Natural Heritage Site.A spacious 77-square-metre old house where you can relax with your family or friends. There are few houses in the area, and it is a quiet place surrounded by trees and streams. It faces east with a view of the sea, so you can sometimes see the moon rising. The starry sky is also very beautiful. It is a 10-minute drive to the town of Awa, which is convenient for shopping and dining.It is a 15-minute drive to the bus stop for the climb to the popular Jomon-sugi. This is a flat in Motomachi, the center of Minami-Tane. You can walk to the convenience store in 2 minutes, and you can walk to almost all restaurants in Kamichu (Minami-Tane's downtown area). It is in the center of town, yet quiet. The bungalow, which was built over 40 years ago, was completely renovated in 2022. We have another beautiful self contained house nearby which caters for up to 6 people. Have a look “South Coast House “ It is a Japanese house near the popular sightseeing spot "Hirauchi Kaichu Onsen" in the southern part of Yakushima.It is within walking distance with Yudomari Onsen.We recommend renting a car because it is far from the popular mountain climbing course.

South Coast House is a traditional Japanese style home located on the very south coast of the island. It is very private, surrounded by nature with great sea and mountain views. Two natural outdoor hot spring Onsens - Harauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes drive away. There is also some hiking, swimming and snorkelling spots close by. It is best to have a rental car as we are quite far from from the main towns, restaurants and most popular hiking trails. The South Coast House is a Japanese house built on a local cedar in Yakushima.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.
