Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Talais

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Large and beautiful Charentaise house with swimming pool and barbecue with many advantages, games room, 5 spacious bedrooms, pleasant living room for 12 people. Secure outdoor parking for 3 vehicles.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

Lovely property. Fantastic pool. We were a family of 8 + child and it was very comfortable. Close to Cognac and an hours drive from pool. Welcoming and responsive hosts. Definitely recommend.

Excellent stay, large living space, private garden without a view, kitchen with all the necessities. Only a toilet downstairs, we found it annoying. And we are also not a fan of fragrance sticks everywhere in the house. Enclosed property with parking, at the edge of the residential area. All in all very satisfied.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

Great stay in Bordeaux! The space was great and super clean. But most importantly, the host was really great: super nice, respectful of our privacy while remaining super open and sociable. We even had a great barbecue together, it was a great time to share. Honestly, I'd recommend it without a second thought, and I'd be happy to come back! And thank you again for everything.

Very nice rental that perfectly matches the Airbnb listing. Thierry is very friendly and very responsive. The town of Saujon is very cute with pleasant walks along the Seudre.

We had a great time at this rental, very well located in Royan: beaches, shops and city center within 15 minutes' walk, so we didn't use our vehicle during our stay. The rental was IMPECCABLE, very comfortable bedding, the interior whose decoration was very cozy and pleasantly decorated, was also impeccable and well-equipped, we did not lack anything. Very comfortable home, located in a quiet neighborhood and very tastefully decorated. In good weather, it is really enjoyable on the terraces. We were very warmly welcomed by Nathalie. We had an unforgettable stay in this villa nestled in the heart of the vineyards, with breathtaking views of the Gironde. The house is a haven of peace, with no immediate neighbors, while being only minutes from the village. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it perfectly accommodated our family of 8. Every detail has been thought out to offer comfort and friendliness, and the soothing setting made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this villa for vacations for families or groups of friends. At our level we are thinking of staying there this summer to enjoy the pool area which is amazing!!

House ideally placed for visiting the region, Bordeaux, Bassin d 'Arcachon and Lacanau ocean, vineyards. The house is very good as the pictures.

David has a lovely home with lots of amenities and fun activities to do. It also has lots of rooms and two kitchens so is perfect for large groups and families. While it is a bit out of town everything you might need (beach, shop, restaurants) is a 5-10 minute drive away or you can take a scenic walk to your destination in 45 minutes to 1 hour. As a host David has also been very responsive throughout ensuring we were all set up for the trip and providing recommendations for the best way to get there. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and thank you David! Omar

Very nice services for this very well equipped and decorated house, with quality materials. A calm and peaceful environment, apart from the noise of the animals that inhabit these places. There is no shortage of activities on site or within a short distance. Ideal for a stay with friends with large indoor and outdoor spaces.

We had a great time in the villa at Meschers-sur-Gironde. The accommodation was first class with everything that you could wish for including a small pool to cool down in. Easy walking distance to the beach and marina where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. All-in-all a great location for a family holiday.
