Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Takayama

I was very satisfied.If I ever come here again, I'd love to stay here again. I just want to thank Goroha-san for being very flexible.

I stayed for two nights and three days, but it was really beautiful everywhere, it was a nice space full of playfulness, stylish, and cozy...!

Just a truly amazing stay. If you want to feel a true typical japanese experience, that is just the place for you. The couple who host are just the kindest/sweetest souls, and it was a real pleasure to meet them. Breakfasts were delicious and the coffee that they roast themselves is stellar. A place to stay is rarely the highlight of a trip (usually it's more the different activities during the day), but I have to say that this particular stay was the highlight of our Japan trip. The hosts also gave plenty of suggestions of activities to do around based on what we liked. Can't recommend this place enough. Completely deserved the already thousands of 5 stars review they got.

We had no trouble finding the hotel from the train. It was a walking distance and it was quite a lovely walk because you see all the different stores and restaurants. We arrived early so we rested in the lounge and then went shopping and had lunch. Finally, our room was ready and we were very impressed with the decor as well as a cleanliness. We especially loves the outdoor onsen which made you feel really relaxed as you listen to the birds. Our next night was with another Iori property so they transported our luggage to the next destination (so that we didn’t have to lug it around on the bus). Overall, we would be returned!

Had a great stay at Yusuke’s place. Had everything I needed and was close proximity to great restaurants in Takayama as well as a few minutes walk to the train station. Highly recommend!

It was a self check-in/check-out, so I was satisfied with the freedom of my stay. The room was clean, including the toilet, and we had a very pleasant stay. Overall, there was an atmosphere with indirect lighting/downlight, and the small Japanese-style room also had a view of the courtyard, so we could relax with our family. The morning market is also close by on foot, and the location is good. The cutlery was at a minimum, but there seemed to be no tea bowl. There was no particular inconvenience, but if you make soup, you may want to prepare a little dishes. Nothing to complain about! It was a good vacation.

this accomodation was a highlight during our trip to Japan. we loved coming home to the cozy cottage after busy days in Takayama. you feel right at home, there is truly everything you could need and it is just so beautifully furnished! you can literally feel the love for detail and the little things that make a home special. Junko-san was so friendly and helped us a lot by giving recommendations and picking us up from the train station. if you think of going to Takayama region, this is your spot! Thank you to Junko-san and her parents for having us :)

We loved our stay! It is a beautiful and quirky place to stay in. You have access to all, bar included. The place is very well presented. Upstairs is very spacious with heating. Plenty of space to spread out with your luggage- you won’t feel on top of each other. The downstairs kitchen is well equipped. Location wise, it was perfect for us. Convenience store close by and many small eateries. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful space!

Naoko was a good communicator and check in was very easy with her instructions. The house is a good size, though you will have a hard time fitting your luggage in the smaller bedroom, and may need to keep it downstairs. Having a dryer in the house was very convenient. The location is good, and easily walkable to the train station.
