Opened in August 2020, Onomachi Yard is a one-group-per-day inn located in a renovated 120-year-old white-walled storehouse in the heart of Hida Furukawa. For those who want to enjoy Hida leisurely, for those who want to spend a quiet time, as well as those who want to stretch their legs a little further to Hida Takayama, the World Heritage Shirakawa-go, Okuhida Onsen, Shinhotaka Ropeway, Kanoka-cho, where the world's largest underground neutrino observatory Super Kamiokande is located, and the activity "Gattango!!" that combines cycling and the abandoned railway.etc., please enjoy your favorite style based on Onomachi Yard. In the winter, there are two ski resorts in Hida city (30 minutes by car), and there is also a hot spring facility. For ○breakfast, we offer the original pancake mix from Panya Nonakabeki in Hida Takayama. It's a pancake mix that's easy to make just by mixing soy milk and a little oil and baking it. Take a car or bus to Gokayama, where the air is clean and the water is delicious! From the nearest interchange, it's less than a 5-minute drive, but we recommend taking the local roads while enjoying views of the mountain-ringed Gokayama. Even if you don't have a car, you can get off at Shin-Takaoka Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, take the World Heritage Bus, and get off at the nearest bus stop while enjoying the mountain views from the window. Essai is just a two-minute walk away.
