The cottage: La Séguinette A lively, refreshing place where a stream flows, home to frogs, kingfishers etc... you will have access to your hosts' swimming pool (June to mid-September) access hours between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. plancha and garden furniture will be at your disposal. Located 12 km from Saintes which is crossed by the Charente in the Saintonge. 1 hour from the Atlantic Ocean (La Rochelle, Royan, La Palmyre, Île d'Oléron) and near Cognac in the Charente region.

In a restored Charentais farmhouse, our guest house at the host's home welcomes you in a green setting. A large glass window illuminates the living room: A wall of natural stones dresses the kitchen area, dining area and office-media area. Outside, there is a terrace for breakfast, a barbecue area for meals in the shade of a century-old walnut tree... A small relaxation area by the (above-ground) pool next to the palm tree, and a 3000 m² garden with trees.

Designed as a peaceful retreat for two, this 55 m² Charentais cottage lies within Les Noyers, a former wine estate surrounded by mature gardens. Old stone, carefully chosen furniture and contemporary touches create a warm, elegant atmosphere. A private terrace, large heated pool and peaceful countryside complete the stay, around 25 minutes from the Atlantic beaches and within easy reach of Royan, Saintes, Rochefort and the Île d’Oléron.

Pontier House, Riverside location.

Maison Pontier is the old bridge keepers house, (the bridge is long gone). It is on the quayside with easy parking and super access to the river (we swim here in the summer). It is quiet but well situated in the village with just a short walk to the excellent boulangerie, general shop, boules court and 3 restaurants, a very short walk along the river bank, ideal for for an evening glass of wine whilst you watch the sun go down.
