Had a lovely birthday weekend away at Humbug Barn! Amanda was a wonderful host—so welcoming and helpful. The barn itself was beautiful and perfectly located near the Forest of Dean. The views from the hot tub were absolutely stunning. I’d definitely recommend it! xx

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

Peaceful and beautiful rural setting … no out door space to sit. Great to have the use of a hot tub with a lovely view … overall a lovely place to stay

We had a great stay and felt very welcome. Lovely comfortable house and nice garden space including the hot tub. Local pub had good food and vegi options (short walk from house). Easy drive to local attractions. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

a lovely cottage in a quiet area. just outside of Ross on wye. easy to check in and check out. cottage was immaculate. would definitely recommend staying here. would definitely stay here again if staying in the area great for the dog too!

What a gorgeous place if all you need is peace and quiet and the sound of the birds this is for you. Even better is it’s only 25 minutes from Abergavenny and it’s Waitrose 😉. Wilma was lovely and updated us with everything and replied with answers to our queries . We are only annoyed that we took so long to find this little gem!

A lovely place, we had to cut our stay short by 3 nights due to unforeseen circumstances. I messaged Lorraine on Saturday to let her know just in case she wanted to open up the dates for other people (I knew we wouldn’t get any refund as it was our fault that we had to leave early), its now Tuesday and I still haven’t received any response from Lorraine which I thought was disappointing. A lovely place to stay however.

What an amazing place!! We had a wonderful weekend here - the garden and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the cottage had all the necessary essentials and amenities. The cottage is beautifully finished, and everything was clean and tidy. The underfloor heating meant it was always warm; and there was always hot water and the bathroom/en-suite are luxurious. We had a lot of fun doing activities in the local area, and enjoyed a “Sound of Music” walk to The Boat Inn.

This is a real gem! We loved our stay, the only problem was it was too short! The house is beautiful, full of character, and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and things like milk in the fridge and coffee/sugar were much appreciated. The surrounding area is beautiful, we walked down by the river to a neighboring pub for lunch, and the Cottage of Content pub is even closer, where we had a great dinner. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We had a fabulous stay at Deb’s. The cottage was very clean and tidy. It was very well equipped with everything you could need - if you want to cook there are plenty of pans and utensils. The beds are very comfortable and we had a very good night’s sleep. The showers were lovely and hot with a great water pressure. There is also a lovely field opposite that the dogs enjoyed exploring and at the top of the field are tables/chairs with a beautiful view. We took a drink up there last night and enjoyed a peaceful time. (PS If you’re looking for a great meal, we headed to the town of Lydney - about a 5 minute drive - and went to an amazing Thai restaurant called NG. The food was really excellent.) This is fantastic cottage, quiet and really nicely finished. We would definitely stay again. A lovely weekend break. Thank you Deb!

We had such a lovely stay at The Post House it was exactly as described. It’s a charming Cotswold home with a gorgeous interior design with extra thoughtful little touches everywhere: cozy blankets in the lounge, extra towels ready for the sauna, deliciously scented diffusers that made the whole house smell amazing, and even bubble bath in the bathroom for relaxing soaks. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with all the luxury of a boutique hotel and spa. Waking up to birdsong and a beautiful view over the fields was so nice. Oh, and bonus there’s a fab pub just across the road with super friendly staff and seriously tasty food. If you’re not in the mood to cook, it’s an absolute must-visit, especially the burger! 😋 Thank you Lisa for being such a great host we will be back when we visit the Cotswold again.

What a beautiful home! We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved it! The home was very well decorated and had everything we needed! The bed is huge!! The surroundings are just idyllic and there are lots of lovely walks to explore. The local pub is fabulous and we had a great meal there. We will definitely be returning in the future!

What a wonderful place. Location was beautiful and so peaceful. It was just like coming home everything that was needed was supplied. Yvonne our host was so pleasant and helpful. The fresh cows milk was SOOOOO! GOOD

The 1 bedroom apartment is attached to Painswick House and gardens. A gorgeous peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean and very appreciated welcome supplies including milk and homemade biscuits and marmalade. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Loved staying here and would recommend to others looking in this area of the Cotswolds. Gloucester cathedral is magnificent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a thoughtful basket of goodies — such a personal and generous touch. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail carefully considered. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear she puts her heart into making her guests feel completely at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

Our stay at Victoria’s cottage was one that we will reminisce about for a long time - hopefully we will be back soon and will stay much longer! We were so comfortable and felt very much at home, with a dream king bed and beautiful art and textiles decorating the home. Wotton-Under-Edge is a scenic 20-minute walk away for all amenities. Truly a restful Cotswolds experience surrounded by farms and nature.

We loved our stay at Andrew and Sarah’s cosy cottage . It is immaculate and furnished to perfection. The little touches of goodies were greatly received.Andrew was very helpful in providing information of some stunning places to visit. We will definitely hope to come back and we’re sorry to be leaving. We would recommend 100%.

Beautiful, serene location for a romantic getaway. Lovely views from every window. Host supplied basic kitchen amenities so we had little to bring. Free fresh eggs laid by their hens were appreciated. We loved it's quite spot and would use again.

Such a cute cottage in a really quiet area- away from the touristy towns but still close enough to drive all over. Beautiful walking paths. Very clean cottage and super helpful host- had great breakfast recs. Definitely recommend if you want to experience the countryside.
