Die Melkstal

Experience the Farm Life at "Die Melkstal" Guesthouse! Our quaint guesthouse started its life as a three point cow milking parlor in the early 80's. The parlor has been converted into a three bedroom self catering guesthouse. Being situated 12km from the nearest town of Heidelberg Western Cape, Die Melkstal is fairly close to the Route 62 and the start of the Garden Route. With little to no selfone signal or Wi-Fi, you can relax and unwind without distractions!

You’ll stay amidst stunning orchards, hiking trails, bike trails, Kingna river and nature all around you. We’re 13km’s out of town, with 7km’s of smooth gravel road, and no reception. But rest assured, we do have wifi and an ice cold drink waiting for you at your stay.

The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
