Monthly Rentals in Swans Island

We loved the house, the island, the seclusion, and the many beautiful places to hike, swim, and kayak! A truly wonderful experience overall while somehow still feeling right at home!

Barnacle Hall was the peaceful backdrop for a birthday getaway. We were gifted with rain, but the cottage, Kyle, and the locals of Swan Island kept our spirits and our body temperature up! Kyle supplied space heaters, and provided through instructions for making a fire as well as instructions for everything you need to know for your stay. His recommendations for exploring the Island did not disappoint. Highly recommend TIMS market, Fine Sand Beach, the Lighthouse, and waking up early in the morning to listen to the birds, and experience the tranquil view from the backyard of the cottage.

Great place and definitely a one in a million place worth it for the experience and the home itself

Gregory's place was perfect. We followed his instructions and brought pretty much everything we needed for the weekend with us on the ferry -- which was a good idea, particularly off-season. We did eat local lobster much of the weekend (picked up at the Fisherman's Coop, which worked out great, and did stop in at TIMS to see if we could pick up some scallops (they were out, but typically do carry other seafood, and did have pretty much anything else you might need in terms of putting together a meal). Gregory was around to make sure we got in ok, and was very responsive via text to a couple of quick questions we had over the weekend, but otherwise you would never have known there was anyone else on the property. The place itself was ideal for a weekend of reading, playing board games, watching good movies, and taking naps either in the sunroom, or in front of the wood stove, which kept the place extremely cozy. Could not have picked a better spot for a quiet weekend!
