Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Surry County

Granny's cottage was comfortable, clean and well stocked with amazing amenities. Night lights, sodas, coffee creamer, great selection of kitchen appliances and utensils, extra linens, s'mores kit, tissues, cooler, to go travel coffee cups, so many thoughtful touches. The bathroom was spotless. Dana was responsive and very helpful. We definitely recommend.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and attention to details hardly describes how fabulous this little cabin is. There was absolutely nothing you could want or need that wasn’t already there for your use. Although I didn’t have a dog, it’s a doggy heaven with fenced yard, dog bowls, scooper and bags and a doggy door. The back porch had curtains to shield the afternoon sun and a fire pit. The large kitchen was stocked with chips and dip, and Kelli already had water in the coffee pot when we arrived. And had made up the day bed for sleeping for us. I would give 10 stars if I could. Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. And best and informative communication with the host made for a very pleasant experience. Next time I pass that way I’ll stay longer.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed waking up to the sound of cows starting their morning ritual. We spent most of our time exploring Mount Airy and the local hiking spots but it was a treat to make our way back to Suzanne’s bnb. The awesome view of the surrounding ridges and even a glimpse of Pilot mountain is hard to beat. All of that and the local wildlife is a privilege. Late one night we must have seen thousands of fire flys blinking constantly on the downslope. If you are enjoy nature and want a secluded farmhouse feel this place is for you.

Jenna’s was friendly, responsive and very accommodating. Place was clean with clear instructions. 10/10 would stay here again!

This was my first Airbnb experience and Randy made it so pleasant and easy! The house was very cozy, clean and inviting. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed and we enjoyed cooking big breakfasts. The proximity to The Shiloh wedding venue was FANTASTIC!!! Randy ALWAYS responded quickly to any communication or questions. He is a WONDERFUL host!!!

This is an amazing hiuse in a beautiful and peaceful location. Joshua was a fantastic and responsive host. I could not have asked for better. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town.

the house was the perfect size for the four of us. we got in with ease and went right to "our" rooms to unpack (it reminded me of the real housewives when they go on a trip) lol. we didn't need to get anything other than food we wanted to eat, everything else was provided. there were even games. all the beds were comfy and I'm pretty sure my step daughter would've taken the lazy boy home if she could. we were out most of the days we were there but when we were inside we watched movies so that was nice. we loved the butterfly garden and the lightning bugs. we used the fire pit to roast marshmallows one night right before it rained. I personally loved the fact that the house was up on a hill and the lights on the house make it so cute. we didn't need to contact Liz at all because we didn't need to, but it was very easy communicating with her leading up to the trip. overall it's a cute house with everything you need and more! close to things but secluded enough to be peaceful.

Absolutely lovely cozy private home. From the driveway to the doorway, house was inviting. The little touches inside made our stay delightful. Very clean and comfortable feel to the house. We look forward to staying here again as our travel allows.

I have now stayed at Enola’s place twice and it remains one of the best Airbnbs I have booked! The high ceilings, wooden floors, and large windows are a great addition to such a beautiful space. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The amenities are top notch as well. Most importantly, these are some of the best and most helpful hosts you will encounter. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I can’t say enough great things about this place and the host. Elizabeth was friendly and responsive and the place had many great amenities. Loved the outdoor space. Comfortable and peaceful. The bed was also comfortable and private with good blinds and curtains to keep out the light. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a fabulous meal.

I don’t know which which to focus on first: how fun it was like to stay in this wonderful mid centurymuseum of a house, how well stocked it was in every way, or how responsive and attentive the hosts were! They left us pastries, gave us great recommendations for restaurants, and didn’t ask us to do a thing to check out. Really, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Thank you so much!

We had a nice stay. Everything was as promised and the host was very friendly. We had everything we needed. Beautiful view in a peaceful mountain setting. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was comfortable. Large, beautiful shower.

It was a lovely place, clean and quiet. I did not like that we didn’t have full access to everything and the front desk seemed not to know we were renting. Other than that I would highly recommend it. Place is clean, looks like pictures and close to a lot of stuff.

The cottage was cozy, neat and exactly what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway! The space is perfectly sized for a single traveler or a couple. We had a small issue with the hot tub and Scott got back to us and solved it quickly, which we really appreciated! Overall, was so peaceful, and we would absolutely stay here again!

We only stayed for a quick overnight, but if we are ever back in the area I would pick her to stay! It was just a cute little apartment in the basement of the house. The beds were comfy. It was a relaxing place to stay after driving all day.

It's been wonderful staying here when visiting Pilot Mountain & Hanging Rock State Parks. The spa is not to be missed. Jaime's place is outstanding! We have been here twice now and looking forward to our next trip back.

It was in a peaceful setting and was not far from town. We enjoyed a great meal at Southern Main.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was exactly as described and we were here for an event but otherwise would have loved to be able to explore the grounds and attend an event at the winery next time. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Ken for the hospitality and for being flexible with us!

Beautiful home and setting. The home was comfortable with all the amenities you could hope for. The pond was awesome! We had a wonderful weekend and hope to come back again!

The cabin was just as the photos show if not better. We are lovers of old buildings and the charm behind handhewn log, antique or farm life! This cabin was a great find for a quick father's day weekend getaway. Enjoyed the amenities but mostly the peacefulness of our busy lives. We loved our stay as it was the perfect cabin for what we were looking for, felt right at home. Our daughter enjoyed all the things to play with on our down time and she loves outdoors so she loved playing in the backyard along with enjoying the horse. The beds were comfortable, ac was great, Hot tub was relaxing and good grilled food. The only thing missing was a washer & dryer but definitely didnt effect the trip. We plan to stay again on our next quick getaway. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us, we enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay, the porch was definitely our favorite part and it had a nice kitchen. As he mentions you at in the country so there are bees and bugs. We did kill two wasps inside in the bedroom both days but that was to be expected with the description.

We had a blast staying out in the mountains. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The A-frame cabin was beautiful inside and out. We could not have chosen any where better to stay for a weekend.
