An eldorado for top hiking enthusiasts with nearby peaks of over 1000m above sea level, such as Trolltind and Åbittinden, but also great for hiking in the terrain, summer and winter. Sunndalsfjella, Trollheimen, Innerdalen, Vinnutrappa, Prestaksla, Aursjøvegen and Eikesdalen are just a short drive away.

How about enjoying fjord views from the cliffs or from a comfortable outdoor sofa under the roof with freshly brewed coffee? Or bathing and lazy days on the rocks? Hiking opportunities in the area are almost endless. Rental of rowing boat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, for boat experts (summer only). Jenstad is the starting point for trips to Åmotan where 4 rivers meet with 3 amazing waterfalls. You live 5-10 minutes walk from the gorge where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow appears on sunny days. You live on the farm Jenstad with historic buildings from the 1700s where history can be read in every log both inside and outside. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a load-bearing beam that is about 170 cm between the hallway and the living room.

I also have a new wood fired sauna available right at the beach. Find peace and enjoy unique nature! From the cabin you have a view directly towards one of Europe's highest waterfalls, Vinnu. The cabin is located by itself, just a few meters from the river Driva. Many nice hiking opportunities nearby, such as Vinnutrappa, Drivapromenaden, Ekkertind and Åmotan. It is 7 km to the nearest town center, where you will find several shops, a swimming pool, library and cinema.
