Ein kleines abgeschlossenes Einraum - Apartment im Herzen der Altstadt von Stralsund. Mit eigenem Eingang und integrierter kleiner Küche , einem Bad mit Dusche und WC. Schlafbereich mit einem Doppelbett. Selbstverständlich sind alle Räume einschließlich des Flures alleinig zu nutzen. Parkmöglichkeit auf Anfrage. Der Bahnhof und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Diese wären: Altstadt, Ozeaneum, Meeresmuseum, Hafen, Kirchen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und vieles mehr.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

On an original farm, we have lovingly created a vacation home to dream of. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! A large garden invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

Surrounded only by meadows and fields, hidden behind the village pond, lies the small manor estate with its main house and old stables. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

In the immediate vicinity are the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee as well as the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula with its long white sandy beaches.

Winter special: Ice bathing in the swimming pond at a water temperature of 2 degrees 🥶. The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness.

The nature reserve overlooks the magnificent views of the island of Rügen. Rare herbs and plants can be discovered here. Sights such as the Ozeaneum and our old town are popular places. About 400 meters away is a beach with a small pier.
