We felt very comfortable in the accommodation and enjoyed the landscape very much. The lake, Slettedalsvatnet, is highly recommended, very close to hiking.

Basile and Ingeborg are very attentive. Contact is very easy and warm and communication is very good. Their two dogs are extremely kind and friendly, our males didn't get along, but that was no problem. They were also present when my dog had a health issue and I can't thank them enough. I really had a great time. The day I return to Norway, it will definitely be at their place. Thanks!

We had a great accommodation in a scenic setting. And eggs from the hens on the farm made breakfast complete. We are delighted.

Veronica's house looks just like the photos - it is modern and fantastically equipped with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. She is incredibly organized, with a binder on arrival with all the information you need to settle right in. The internet is fast, and the view beautiful with lots of walking paths nearby. There was unfortunately some confusion associated with our stay which resulted in a bit of negativity after check-out. My bad: there are usually 2 of us on our sampling trips, which is what I booked for, but we got lucky at the last minute and found out a third person would be able to help as well, after the booking was paid for. When we arrived one bed was already made up beautifully, but we needed two more. The binder said there were sheets under the beds, so my coworkers just made up their own beds as you often have to at Airbnb's and we thought no more of it. After check-out, while i was on the 6 hour drive back home, Veronica wrote me and asked why we used the linens appropriate for 5-6 persons. When I got home and checked my messages, I explained what happened and that it was a work trip so we each needed our own beds, and offered to pay the difference for the third person. For that I got a rather grumpy response and was informed that I had been reported to Airbnb. So, while I recognize we are not without fault in the exchange, the negative response felt a little OTT.

A cozy, well-designed cabin in the middle of peaceful countryside near Etne. Remote and quiet, with cows grazing nearby and a view that makes you want to stay forever. Simple, beautiful, and just right for a weekend away.

Spacious kitchen and living room, everything needed was available. Nice view over Skanevik fjord. We also did the roadtrip suggested by Frode, it was very scenic and beautiful.

We had a wonderful time in Anny's hut! The accommodation is simple, but very cozy and equipped with everything you need. We were particularly impressed by the fantastic, quiet location with a breathtaking view over the fjord - simply unforgettable! A special highlight was the opportunity to rent Anny's boat. My husband was thrilled with the fishing and caught a lot of fish. Anny is an incredibly warm and likeable hostess. She personally welcomed and saw us off – and even in perfect German! We felt completely comfortable and welcome. Thank you, dear Anny – we'd love to come back!

We have had a second stay at the cabin because we liked the location so much. The cabin is cosy, well equipped, spacious and located above Sauda in the mountains. A good spot for Winter and Summer activities. We really liked to come back to the cabin.

Eivind and Hanna were great and very friendly hosts. They responded quickly and fixed issues in a fast and professional manner. They also gave us great tips for stuff to do in the region. The house is in a nice location on a farm and I would recommend a visit. We hiked both to the Buarbreen glacier and trolltunga which are about an hour drive away.

The cabin looks like on the photos. The check in was super easy and the communication was great! It’s a quiet and nice place with a fantastic view where you can watch the sunset over the lake.

Fantastic family-friendly cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin! The location is beautiful, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The cabin was very clean and tidy on arrival, and it was clear that the host attaches great importance to good standards and maintenance. As a family of two adults and three children, we especially appreciated the large selection of toys for the children. It made the stay extra pleasant and relaxing for all of us. The host was very welcoming and responded quickly to all inquiries, which gave us a safe and good experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful stay. Exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful holiday home with a fantastic view of the fjord and a quiet location. The highlight was the hot tub. Highly recommended.

We have already visited the accommodation/cabin for the second time and, as with the first time, we liked it fantastically. It is a small paradise for us, where you can spend time undisturbed and enjoy nature. No matter the weather: you have a fantastic/unique view of the fjord, which always invites you to linger. The cottage is cosily furnished and very well maintained. And with the fireplace and the optionally bookable hot tub, we lacked nothing. We enjoyed our stay again. Tor Martin is a very helpful, reliable, and nice host who is always very easy to reach.

We really loved the stay! Our landlords were super friendly and always approachable. We loved that we could use the boats and fishing gear! We can recommend this place for families and friends who like nature, the fjords and a cozy cabin!

Erik (owner of cabin) was so kind and helpful! Reachable by phone / text. The location was amazing, so many nice walks, the cabin is so comfy, everything amazing. Only tiny criticism would be that the checkout tasks were a bit excessive (demanding to clean toilets with bleach, wet clean floors, etc.) and stated there would be so cleaner between guests. Also Novasol didn’t respond to messages via Airbnb. Still, would definitely recommend coming for a relaxing getaway, especially with a dog / active family!!!

Super great location with a fantastic view of the fjord. Everything you need for a successful holiday is available. The large hot tub and the pizza oven were our highlight :) Thank you for the nice and uncomplicated communication. We'll be back.
